Yeh I dunno. Something hit me 24 hours ago and completely kicked my ass

I've never had the flu tho, so im not sure if thats what it is or not.

I tried eating for the first time an hour ago. Freshly cooked chicken. Had to stop after a couple bites bc it tasted like shit. Does flu do that? Maybe covid
Gargle scope. Take emergency-c. And stay hydrated. Plenty of rest.

Good luck!

He got it from me last week.

He insisted on trying to make me feel better by pranking me and dressing up like an elf and jumping around in my yard. It freaked my dog out who then attacked him and started dragging him through the doggy door and into the house to show me what he had caught.
Did you really have it? How did it go?

Yep. I've been working way too much lately so it took advantage of my fatigue and managed to get its dirty hands on me.

I coughed so much that my throat still hurts. It's like I pulled a muscle in my esophagus. Not sore like strep. I had a fever for a night which made me sleep like garbage.

I'm still stuffy but otherwise fine and dandy.

I’m okay but I still have some weird ass symptoms sometimes. I think I have long haulers.

Did either of you get the vaccine or boosters?

I'm pro vaccine. But I also have trypanophobia and Ivr rarely ever gotten sick. So ive never gotten a flu vaccine, let alone covid vaccine...
At this point I think you made the proper choice.
It seemed good if the 95% protection was close to legit and it had no side effects...but the pfizer releases have proven that was largely just a sales pitch.

I'm not a doctor FYI...But, I have heard exactly that ^^^ from a few "fully vaxxed" doctors as of late.

My understanding is that the vaccines have saved a lot of lives. Hundreds of thousands. Potentially millions of at-risk people

I don't think that is the case. Sadly.

Info comes out every week that suggests it did a lot of damage and will continue to do so. I no longer post that info here because it largely falls upon deaf ears. Not nutter info, real science.

The people I know that are testing positive the last 5 months are fully vaxxed and fully boosted, the unvaccinated in my life aren't catching "it". Contrary to popular belief the Human Immune System did not die in 2020.
