I'm a little older than you and have also experienced this so you're not alone hah. Especially when I go back and look at pictures of my parents or grandparents at my age....they all looked old and weathered. Other than some grays in my beard, I think I've held up fairly well all things considered.

Like you said, maybe it's just me - but I don't think I look (or act) my age. Just yesterday I stopped for lunch near one of the state universities where there's a ton of students around, and some 18 or 19 year old girl was at the counter. She asked me if I was a grad student lol. In my head I was like "I started college before you were born for fucks sake" lol. I guess I'll take the compliment though

I will add this to my above comment. My wife and I started dating in 2004 (married in 2008), and when I go back and look at those pictures of us back in our earlier years together it's like "Jesus Christ we look like baby-faced kids" lol

Yeah. I love how we all have developed a system within the system for ratings. Like, there is a primary meaning but also a secondary one that could mean something emphatic, sarcastic, a slur, etc. depending on the rating. It’s one of my favorite things about this place - a community language.

I think I've had it 2-3 times the past decade. With bananas and crêpes. I couldn't give a fuck what's in it, I just don't eat dessert that much.my ex had a condition, not diabetes, but fucken similar, which meant she had to keep her sugar levels right, so she was always chowing down on dessert. She wasn't fat, she could be a model, in fact she was kinda pissed off she wasn't, she fell outside some criteria for Victorians secret and it upset her. But seriously, I could order a steak and she could just order a dessert, I can't remember her condition, but she's a nutritional official, she gives out food stamps and comes up with dietary plans for poor/fat people.
