Apparently Netflix crashed today due to users trying to watch the last two episodes of Stranger Things. Yet when I look it up it’s only ranked #2 today… at least in Canada. I’m sure the rankings are regional.

It is Canada Day so people are probably outdoors celebrating rather than watching tv in most places?
im surprised umbrella academy is doing so well. i couldnt even get past episode 3 this season. it was so corny
to play devils advocate, the same happened for me with The Boys, and that show also resonates with a large audience
I haven’t started Umbrella Academy but I can believe your opinion. I’m the same way with The Boys I’m only watching because I’m too far in to stop watching. I’m along for the ride
i hear ya. i used to have that same feeling of investment and intertia. but a few years ago, i finally began to be able to just let shows go when i no longer like them
i wont spoil anything for Stranger Things, but ill say this. think of the Umbrella Academy cheesy jokes that just fell flat, and were delivered all corny
Stranger Things hit on the same genre of jokes, but they are more subtle and delivered better. Robin is a good example. i can think of one of her funny comments off the top of my head

It's very well done no doubt. Some easy to call stuff, some unexpected stuff. Sometimes a bit corny but hitting the mark often enough.
Just the typical "creating a dialogue" stuff was still around.

I'm listening to the podcasts of its always sunny atm.
Its really good. They go episode by episode.
Love their closeness and obviously they are naturally funny.
The “It’s Always Sunny Podcast” is my favorite. Those three have the best rapport and they’ll getting to hear how they are similar/different from their characters is awesome. They might only talk about the episodes for 25% of the podcast, but it is so entertaining.
I'm kind of needing out and watching the episodes half way through.
So its interesting to see and get what they are saying. In episode 1. They talk about crossing the line. In a TV technical sense. And I always got that. Then they mention how budweiser pulled out of sponsoring the show after ep 1 and I'm just looking at the blurring going on. Its cracking me up. Like seeing the show new again.

I am itching for the fifth and final season. I like how we didn’t get a fake “happy” ending with only a small, ominous undertone. Like shit is going to go down in season five and I am already impatiently waiting.
