Mothering Sunday is like Good Friday but on a Sunday.
 
Over the past few years I have been turning over my t-shirts, buying a lot of ones with positive messages. I can’t tell you how many people have stopped me to acknowledge that they have resonated with them or that they needed to hear a given message at that particular time.

Ordered a new starboard touring board, 2021 model at a considerable discount. But they mistakenly sent me the 2022 model.

With aspirations to play ice hockey, I started learning how to ice skate a few months ago. Used rental skates for the first couple sessions, and realized those skates suck, and if I want to play I should just buy my own. So I bought skates and a helmet. Then I realized I can go to the stick and puck sessions, and all I needed was a helmet, gloves and a stick.

So I ordered a stick and bought some gloves at play it again sports. Went to a few stick and puck sessions and took one fall that made me realize I need more gear. I ended up buying hockey pants, shin guards, and socks. My lower half was ready to go. “No elbow pads or shoulder pads, I’ll be good until I start actually playing”. Well, I went to another stick and puck yesterday, and played in my first pickup game. Took one fall and bruised my elbow. After we got done, I went home and ordered the rest of the gear I needed.
 
A wetsuit because I'm finna be doing some diving soon.

I haven't used it yet but I tried it on yesterday. I was already a fucking sea snake in the water, but this shit finna significantly up my movement.

Don't be surprised if you hear stories of dead alligators and shit.

This is my preferred brand of rolling papers. OCB Slims, king sized.

You can buy them at the local head shop for $6.50 each.

Or, it turns out you can go online, spend $42, and get this many:

I once bombed a chance to fuck a girl named Melinda, because I was drunk and didn't believe that was her real name, and apparently made fun of her for it too much. "That's not your real name, nobody's called that. What are you, Sabrina's sister? Are you also a teenage witch?" And multiple "hilarious" bits of comedy to go along with it, which my friends very much appreciated and enjoyed. Her? Not so much. :smile:

Apparently she was well into me before I started trashing her for her name. I don't know why the hell I didn't believe it. When she finally showed me her driver's license it was too late, that horse had already bolted. :smile:

Psh, one of my really good friends is named Melinda.
 
My Amazon Prime Day Deals were second monitors for myself and my son for the new place with dual monitor mounts. His is the off-brand one because he is quite destructive... I don't want to spend the money on a nicer one as his second screen, as his main one is a mid-tier gaming monitor. I already have the exact same LG so now I will have a matching pair.

For the animals, I bought new litter boxes for the new place, an Apple AirTag, and a case for it that loops through the dog's collar.


Things I need to get really soon:
- Back seat cover for the dog with a seat belt.
- Trailer Hitch.
- Queen bed frame, Fortnite sheet set, nightstand.
- King mattress, sheets, and bed frame.
- This invisible fence for the dog.

Neither am I entirely, so I’m just going to use the noise and not the zappy part but this one was highly recommended by people I trust. I plan to cover the prongs. I can’t get a fence at the new place yet so I thought this would be a solution. At our current place, I use a 50ft chain that covers the span of our backyard and part of our neighbor’s yard (which they’re total okay with since their dog is her bestie), but I have it tethered into 90lbs (~41kg) of cement and weights that she can still pull around with her if she is so inclined. I found a way to tuck it into a patio pillar here with a bunch of stuff in front of it and she finally can’t move it, but I don’t have anything like that at the new place. I most likely would need to bury it. I also need two leads since at night I’d let her out through my room’s door rather than the back door across the house. I think I could find a mid-point between the doors to bury the bucket and still reach both doors with its respective lead. I don’t know though since I haven’t seen the house for myself yet.
She’s a good girl but we will be on the main road and while she doesn’t have that bolt away for no reason instinct, she will run if she sees something worth chasing.
 
I'm gonna go buy some aftershave, I'm smell like a yaks foreskin. Not sure which one, I'll just gamble and go with what's cheapest, worked out last two times I did it.
