Twin 150s are tonight - 7 pm and 8:45. The results of these races set the field for the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

Travis Pastrana is giving the Daytona a go. He starts 12th in the 8:45 race tonight. His qualifying speed was good enough yesterday to earn a spot in Sunday's race despite being non-chartered - but his starting spot depends on where he finishes tonight.

Also, F1 is right around the corner. Bahrain GP is on March 5.

Red Bull kicked everyone's ass last year. Lewis Hamilton didn't even finish in the Top 5 and is still butthurt about it. Whiney bitch.

I do miss these being Twin 125s and starting at noon. Me and my buddy would hit the bar at lunch, get shitfaced and never return to work. It helped that the bartender was a badass brunette with giant tits she liked to show off.

The cars looked VERY loose in both races last night. Possibly because they were set up for a single pit-stop race of 150 miles, or it could mean we'll be in for a crazy race on Sunday.

He had some hilarious commentary with his spotter. He was running at the back just getting some laps in and the driver in front of him was giving him hand signals. Pastrana asked his spotter (or whoever) what the signals meant. They informed him and Travis was like "Well, he's probably pissed because that's not what I did"

Something like that. I'll have to see if anyone uploaded it. It made me chuckle.

Also funny was after the race when they asked him what he thought. Remarkably, his qualifying laps were his first laps ever in a Cup series car. Other than simulators, he didn't get practice time.

He said the biggest surprise was how little you see when you are drafting. He said after a few laps he learned to get ready to turn left when he saw the Sunoco signs. Tony Stewart was Ike "There's Sunoco signs out there?"

I'm guessing that coming from rally racing it's a very different frame of reference points. Either way, dude can drive the bag off a car.

I wanted to go to the go to the F1 race in vegas but they are price gouging for tickets and hotels at this point the minimum you would spend for F1 weekend is 10 grand.

For the long grand prix months earlier I only spend like 800 bucks for the 3 day event including booze,food and tickets.
