Take a quick look at DWAC today..😆
With a volume of 24 million shares.
MMM beat earnings, but pulled back on estimates for 2024. Down 12% today.
Eventually, this stock is a no-brainer buy. They've paid out dividends for 100+ years, and for 64 years that amount has incrementally increased.
As it sits now, the divi yield is 5.55%
All time high of $255+ in 2018
Currently $95

FYI on the MMM
They just wrapped up a giant lawsuit on faulty military ear protection. That's the reason for the downturn, but it's baked in.
I would expect a recovery, but I haven't bought in yet.

Under Armour reported a beat on EPS.
WS Expected $0.11; Reported $0.19
They maintained their less-than-normal revenue guidance, but that news is baked in.
I view UA/UAA as a good value here. UAA closed at $7.70 yesterday. Pre-market has it opening at $8.16...so 6.1% to the good.
I expect we will see $9 soon, and hopefully a grind up to $20. All time high was $52 +/- back in 2015.

Beamr Imaging (BMR) has been the stock of the day.

Not a stock that moves a lot but today it jumped from $1.82 to a high of $34.94
Why? Because they partnered with one of the Magnificent Seven (NVIDIA) in video tech known as AOMedia Video (AV1).
Both companies will jointly present solutions to the challenge of video formatting at the ACM Mile-High-Video 2024 Conference.
As for BMR, there was profit taking and it's currently back down to $9.95
Given how flat it's been I'd anticipate more profit taking and likely some volatile swings with heavy ups and downs. Cash outs and FOMO.
If I see an opportunistic dip I may jump in. Do your own research on this one. I haven't heard about this stock until today.

January CPI report.
Inflation came in slightly higher than expected (by 0.3%). The run up was largely due to bulls anticipating a DROP in the Fed rate in Q1 or Q2. With the inflation being stubborn, that move is now likely backed off to Q3 or Q4.
We're still north of 3%.
The target is 2%.
We're still in recovery. The run up was way too hot. A pullback was predictable, but I wouldn't wait too long to jump in. An additional rate hike is very unlikely, and I view pullbacks like this as great buying opportunities.
I sold when it hit $55 about a moth ago.
I planned to buy back in at $25 but it never made it that low.
