The GameStop documentaries have been outstanding.
Hell, just reading through this thread from the beginning is a trip.
On the day RobinHood turned off their BUY button so folks could only sell - I lost my shit. Haha.
American Airlines (AAL) getting clobbered today. They pulled back on their Q2 guidance from a month ago. Couple that with the fed being hesitant to loosen the interest rate and it's a double whammy.
Currently down $1.92/share (14%) to $11.52
2 weeks ago it was $15
Pre-pandemnic it was a $30 stock.
In 2017 it tickled $60.
I'm watching this one like a hawk. No divi, but I could easily see this as an easy double-up in under 52 weeks.

Hope everyone moved their 401k assets into low risk/low yield bonds, because shit is about to hit the fucking fan. I moved 90% of mine there shortly after this shit stain administration was installed. Yeah, I lost out of some gains the past couple years as they inflated the market by cooking the books, but I knew there was no way we'd get thru these 4 years without a 2008 like crash...and here we are. Brace for impact accordingly.
You have been calling it. I'm still heavily vested, but I've taken plenty of profit along the way. Hopefully it isn't too bad. These are the days I don't open the 401k website.
It also triggers another buying opportunity at some point. I'm thinking November 6, 2024.
