Did u fill in the dead space after popping off the gel pads? I filled mine with foam ear plugs and it helps deaden more sound while maintaining the same electronic amplfied voice levels. I previously posted a vid from YouTube that showed this.

I also recently got the walkie talkie's for them and they work nicely.

For some reason I wasn't getting notifications for this thread. I feel like I missed so much these last two weeks.

Anyway, going to shoot a legit PRS qualifier match Saturday. I've only shot small club matches with a few shooters previously. Gonna get smoked for sure. Haven't had the opportunity to practice much positional shooting out to 1100yds. Expectations are low.

Don't get DQd, and finish top 75 is the goal.

Don’t get me started on the fucking chinesium green house. It’s currently in the “twisted pile of shit” portion of my yard next to the clapped out race car; so that my Karen ass neighbor has to see it every time she pulls out.

I got new Wilson combat rear and front sites for a new Colt Python
The factory rear site was completely unacceptable it had some play in it, and I don't want that red on the front site I much prefer a gold or silver round dot
That is the only complaint, the action is smooth smooth

I no longer have to double up after making this mod. I originally put pick and pluck foam inside but it wasn't dense enough.

Fit and finish is really great, but they totally fucked up with a rear site that absolutely will not stay in place(1+millimeter play left to right)...So I got new sites that were recommended as a solution.
mine looks just like this but has super dark wood grips.
Action is very nice IMO...I have a few revolvers so that is what I'm comparing it to

Oregon was gonna pass some bullshit legislation last year that required some training class and permit issued by local law enforcement, luckily that got thrown out by the courts as expected. All it did was drive gun sales as people didn't want to go thru that unconstitutional process. My contribution was purchasing this Colt(shitty sights and all).

I also purchased a cheap Ruger Wrangler as a rattle snake gun. It is pretty fucking sweet. Cowboy style loading and a cerakote finish on the frame. It shoots pretty dang good. It cost me 175$ USD.

The good .22 revolvers are expensive, I used to have a old S&W 617 long barrel and it was amazing...sold it like a dumbass.

I feel all they did in Washington with the AWB and mag ban was flood the streets with them shits lol. I mean at worst it's a gross misdemeanor and the statue of limitations is two years from the date of the infraction.

Not really that enforceable lol.

I spent 13 hours finish this fucking Chinese castle play house.

Absolute fucking shit show, and completely unorganized today. Like when you have Ken doing electrical work and splicing wire and making cords. Shit has gone all the way wrong. Mongo build things, Mongo no make arcy sparky lighty worky.

You know it's bad when I'm the guy coming up with ideas on how to finish stuff quickly, and the lil Mexican lead dudes is like why the fuck didn't they send you to me the whole time we could have got this all done way earlier lol.

We started talking about Dead Wood and quoting Al and Woo, and he breaks out the "Chinese COCKSUCKERS" line not realizing they were standing right below us hahaha.

I got pretty pissed for a while, especially when I was running around trying to do 37 things at once and trying to problem solve problems that aren't my fucking problems hahaha.

Still a cool experience I guess. Still amazed they are going to throw this 250k exhibit straight from China into the trash lol.

I think my girl and I might get tickets for Sunday and go peep it out and get our nerd in and have dinner in Seattle after. Good excuse for a date night I suppose lol.

But yeah, fuck China. China asshole.

When they tried to put forth a law on any mag over 10 rounds the cabellas and other gun shops here were stocking and selling massive bins of 30Rd Pmags each day...the state will never run out of 30 round mags now.

I've had my fingers broken and hyperextended and everything else from BJJ and wrestling so much that they're all fat, slow, and inarticulate as all hell.

I'd need a Glock switch to get to a 2.00s Bill, lol.

This is honestly something I struggle with, and it's something I have had to deal with for some time. My thumbs, and my pinky that straight up don't work right are the major weak link in my grip.

My solution is to compensate with with more later pressure with vicing up and into the gun, and trying to squeeze a bit more with my more good pinky lol. And I'm trying out a more Bob Vogel drive the support side wrist and thumb down grip. That's been helping, but my janky wrist isn't a big fan of it.

Shooting doubles and trigger control at speed has been helping.

I've been trying the Mark Smith, hold the gun in closer and try and pull the trigger like I want to be able to do at speed thing. And watch what happens. "Practice shooting the gun, how you wanna be able to shoot the gun". Pull the trigger at speed with out moving the fucking gun. Either with trigger prep or a rolling pull.

Looking forward for some pistol performance stuff with him and Bill Blowers in October. I think he can help me more with my mechanics for what I'm physically capable of doing. That's always a big help and for me a major example of an educator vs an instructor.

Hell he helped my a bunch just watching me shooting reduced IPSC targets at 150 yards with a pistol just fucking around after class. Just getting my to try a few diffrent things, and go out and play with then on my own time. That helped my B8 shooting a good amount untimed slow fire and added to my shot calling abilities.

It's just like BJJ. There are "plenty" of things I do pretty well, and can even teach you the ways I like to do it, how I set things up, how I look at the process.

Can I do that for people not built like me, tweak it to their limitations, their builds, with out tard strength to lean on? Nah not really lol.

That's what a lot of the Israeli SOF units do. For an exterior door, I take a further distant dynamic pie. Most people struggle to hit a lateral moving target. As soon as he appears you can blast him, since you control the pace. The goal is to get cross coverage on every door before entry. An open exterior door gets a 9 banger. As a cell leader I used to carry about a dozen.

If he's aiming in wait for me though....well I had a good life.
