I was so pissed with the abortion of queen of the damned adaption, one of my top favorite books of hers. I will take your word and not bother watching this series.
More of the same, I'm afraid to say. When Rice and her son couldn't even bring themselves to shill it, you know it's bad.

The book is fantastic(I only read the first one). I heard the rest were, too. Idk, if they ran out of source material or what but the last season was pretty terrible. The comeback one isn't too shabby.
I loved the books. Little old lady at the bookstore knew the kind of stuff I bought and turned me on to it. "Its devilishly delicious" lol.

I watched about 4 episodes and got super pissed they were wrecking it out of the gate, tapped out.
Actually just tried again and it's better now since it was so long ago.

Which reminds me. Christian Slater was awesome in this series. I am excited for the Dexter prequel. Not so much the Resurrection. Anyways, back to Mr Robot:

Young, anti-social computer programmer Elliot works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. He is recruited by the mysterious leader of an underground group of hackers to join their organization. Elliot's task? Help bring down corporate America, including the company he is paid to protect, which presents him with a moral dilemma. Although he works for a corporation, his personal beliefs make it hard to resist the urge to take down the heads of multinational companies that he believes are running -- and ruining -- the world.

I really liked that show but it didn't wrap up.

Speaking of spoilers- one day I get home from a 48 and my ex asks if I watched the last episode of 1883.
"No, I thought we were saving it to watch together"
"Oh my god, can you believe he killed himself!?!?"

WTF

"Oh, sorry"

So I've never actually seen the last episode, out of spite

I don't usually admit to reading Anne Rice, even though as a kid I plowed through those books like spjackson at an all the dick you can suck buffet. Neil Jordan's film was, if nothing else, pretty faithful and a decent artistic film. Gayish but not intolerable. First bush I ever remember seeing in a film as a kid.
The original movie, like the novel on which it is based, keeps the homo shit buried in the mix so it’s more subtext than overt. In fact, though it has been 40 years since I read the book, I’m pretty sure that Louis explicitly states at one point that there was no carnal attraction between the vampires, that they bonded intellectually. Then in the second book Lestat comes along and says Louis said this but he’d lied, there was sex, and lots of it. From them on it was all homo all the time in every book she wrote except the one about Jesus, and I’m kind of surprised she didn’t throw it in there, too. 😆

Well, I guess I deserved that for KVR.

Been watching a show called the terror

It's a thriller / horror. Made a couple years back on amc but just on netflix recently

First season is great. Second is good so far.

Different story each season. Here's a trailer for the first. I don't wanna watch one for the second because I'm watching it.

Is that about a group of sailors trapped in ice on a ship?

IIRC, they were eating something from their food stores that had some kind of toxin that made all of them hallucinate in the book.

The interview with the vampire series is another soft porn gay series. Every vampire in there is a cock sucker

So tired of Netflix shit. Every show is a gay grooming program
You’re not wrong.

In the books pretty much all of the vampires were either bisexual or outright gay, so I’m willing to entertain giving the show a pass for that.

That's the one. It's a good show.

The second season is completely separate from the first. Nothing to do with it story or really production wise and is a bit hokey pokey. It's about Japanese ghosts n shit I won't ruin.

There's a third season coming soon which is why I guess netflix added them. It will probably be about lesbian witches making the force or something

I'm watching Sherlock. The Benedict whatever one from 2010. Never appealed to me before but I'm really enjoying it.

It's Sherlock Holmes set in modern London. He's a right weird cunt and it's well done.
