I don't think either team is going to be winning their division, let alone the Super Bowl in the next 5 years. I'm just happy to have professional football back and my post was good natured trash talking.
I do have to say, though, that passing in the Super Bowl was the right answer. Butler broke the rules by jumping that route, which is something the Pats hadn't done that season. Assuming that The Pats still weren't going to do that according to their tapes from that season, the receiver not catching the ball stops the clock and gives Seattle the chance for another play. If Lynch, who was getting packed in that game anyway, got three steps before getting shellacked, they're out of time and lose immediately.
