Am I seeing this right? Is Nick Sirianni attempting to blame Hurts for attempting a wide open pass when he thinks he should have taken a Sack? Seems like Sirianni is blaming Hurts without realizing the RB (who was fucking Saquon) was open and thus didnt trigger the mechanism.

This is in the mindset of analytics dorks where some think striking out is better than hitting the ball im play because more bad things can happen.

I will be attending the Monday night Bills game wearing a vintage OJ Simpson jersey.

I've had people offer me $10k for it, lol.

THE JUICE IS LOOSE!
You should have took it. They have companies that will make you a custom jersey with any team & any name.

Broncos are in trouble if they can't figure out the run game
Predictable and zero push is a bad formula for a rookie QB
WRs are slow as shit as well

"Bo Nix is the only quarterback to lead his team in rushing in his first two career games since 1950, per
@OptaSTATS"

Bo only has like 60-80 yards after two games

If Sean Payton can't figure out a way to help Bo Nix settle in, or if he's not as good as you hoped, then I'm afraid that your bet on the Broncos winning 6 games (if I remember correctly?) is right up shit creek.

Sean Payton is a big part of the problem right now, sadly
His play calls are so long and he gets them in so late that Bo often has around 8 seconds at the line, which is an obvious disadvantage
His formations and play calls have not been good in the first half, basically predictable run run pass out of predictable formations and

No rookie comes in and plays well, last year CJ stroud looked real bad early and was doing well by seasons end

15 games left, lot to learn and a lot of room to grow.

For Nix to have success he is going to have to have more hurry up and more time at the LOS.
Probably gonna have to pass to open up the run, not short passes either. Some shots and rips downfield will be necessary early in games.

Broncos roster is not good enough to just line up and win in predictable situations.

Defense is average to decent. Offense has faced good defenses so far so they will likely have more success against some teams. Both games have been one score though, which is good.

I'm fully on board with giving QBs time to develop, seems like so many pundits write inexperienced QBs off so quickly these days. I guess saying stuff like "Player x SUCKS!!! He's a total bust!" gets way more clicks / views, and by the time that's proven incorrect, they have moved on to their next wildly inflammatory opinion.

Look at the shit that was slung at Jordan Love during the early part of last year, and he had years as a backup to Rodgers. Josh Allen caught flak early in his career too.
