For lack of anything better to do tonight we popped over to Paramount and watched the pilot episode of the new “Matlock”. It’s actually not bad, with a twist at the end that makes it look very intriguing.

Matlocks a town near where I grew up. Loads of motorcycles go there on a Sunday. It was like a little vacation town and hour away with loads of arcades and fish n chips.

If you ever watched the movie dead man's shoes (if you say no I'll stab you) it's filmed around that area

See you are lying now, there were two latine construction workers banging each other in Fredricos house, there is no way you forgot about that.

One thing that struck me was how long this agenda driven bullshit has been going on, the show is almost 25 years old and I remember it being all the rave with critics at the time, just never watched it.

Are you basing that on having watched it or just assuming? I can tell you if you haven’t seen it that it’s not what it appears to be. It’s neither a remake of nor sequel to the Andy Griffith series of the same title. It does reference it when the main character speaks of her early career as an attorney when the show was current, saying people used to ask, “Oh, like the TV show?”

Damn it was just going to say this! Blew me away when I found out, I never watched big bang or young sheldon but my wife does. First time I heard her speak while walking thru the living room was wow, that sounds just like Metcalf, looked it up and sure enough, it's her daughter.
