I'm a firm believer that the rankings shouldn't even exist until around week 6. Nothing. Not one official poll. The preseason rankings play way too much into everything. I also believe your strength of record should matter as much as anything and boat racing nobodies shouldn't be rewarded like it is.

I agree! Far too many teams ranked on name & reputation.
UGA is too low. They can beat anyone.
ND is too high as always.
Some fun stuff shaping up for conference title games.
Tell me this SEC season isn’t cue’d up nicely for Texas to slide in. They skip Ole Miss, Bama, and Tennessee. UGA would still be on top if they had Texas’ schedule.
