Making some turkey pot pies!
Double batch, since we had about 2.5lbs of smoked turkey.

Saute onion in a preposterous amount of butter

Add flour, salt, & pepper until it's a pasty ball

Pour in a box o broth and a cup of milk, keep stirring until it gets bubbly and thick.

And..... at this point switch to the crock pot because your roommate doesn't have a big enough pot to contain all this greatness.
Dump in veggies and turkey

Let simmer for about an hour to get just right
I had to add another half box of broth, it just kept getting thicker....


And that's where I'm at
In a bit I'll dump into two pie pans with store bought pie crust and cook for 30-40 minutes at 425.
The other half of the pie guts will be frozen for later.

I'll post final product pics in a couple hours.

*patiently awaiting kvr28 @kvr28 to tell me I did it wrong...

If it's not the whole pie just the top pie crust fake ass pot pie, you're dead to me.
