I don't know much about that guy, but I have seen him in a few videos in the past year just wrecking liberal journalists. The one with him just nonchalantly eating the apple was absolutely hilarious.
he is trudeau . thats the problem . both slava ukraine. both pro mass immigration . both pro vax .
the CPC as a party is rotten and gay . they are not conservative . they are centerist at best . they want to occupy the space that the 2000s liberals were in . that is where the canadian voters are . conservatism plays in the west but the east loves the liberal party.almost all of the CPC bros have zero conservative values . they just dont like trudeau . the country is a mess and we are better off with trudeau gone but its not like PP is some hero who is going to swoop in and save us
The only hope that I have for PP, is that he follows through on his gun promises. I will be unsurprised if he doesn't, but if he does, that's still a lot farther ahead than we are now.
Bryan Mulroney was more despised in the end than Justin Trudeau is now at the end of his run. These guys are really products, not people, and they have a limited shelf life. Two terms if they're popular, one if not. Trudy got parts of three in, pretty darned good really.
Polly seems like he could become pretty annoying pretty quickly. If he manages a second term it's my guess Canadians will be fed up with him by the end of it. For those who weren't around in Mulroney's time, he was so unpopular by the end of his final term that he actually killed the old Progressive Conservative party. It went from over 150 seats in the parlioament to just 2 in the election after he resigned, no longer an officially recognized party. It doesn't exist anymore.

They merged with the Reform and made the CRAP party, which eventually rebranded as the CPC.Well. Technically
It is a little different than the old PC party though. The PCs had a Red Tory faction in it that was quite 'liberal.' These people are more of a staight conservative party.
Anyway, my point was that Mulroney basically cratered his party to a position where it couldn't be put back together again.

That's what Canadians are though. There's like 10% real conservatives in the country. They'll never win an election. You're surrounded by people who are nothing like you. PP is as best as can actually get elected in Canada. It is what it is.. You don't have to like it.. It's just fact.
He is a huge improvement over Trudeau.

You can't hate gays, hate immigrants, hate public healthcare, want to ban abortion, etc, etc and get elected in Canada.
The best we can hope for in Canada (that can actually get elected) is center left social policies with center - center-right economic policies.
