Excellent.
Everyone is realizing the game is not enough anymore. Even with a winning product, game day experience is the driving factor and people will pay for it. So many venues are adding exclusive suites and clubs. People aren’t satisfied with being crammed into the venue like sardines. There’s still that, of course, but people like shorter lines at concessions and bathrooms, private entrances, a wait staff, leg room, and room to move around while not missing the action.
8 years ago, Clemson’s basketball arena actually decreased the seating capacity by a couple thousand as I recall in order to add different levels of clubs which have their own areas, hi-top tables, comfy stadium seats, and early and late access. You have to marry that with sound, video, and lighting tech to keep the vibe hyped. The days of a PA announcer calling the game are over. It requires a whole production team to make a game happen.
