THe original Midway is pretty damn good IMOHas anyone seen the Midway movie with Dennis Quaid and Woody Harrelson? Any good? It's on my watchlist, but the trailer made it look kinda meh
My worry is that it's total shit like MIchael Bay's Pearl Harbor movie
Your moostach hairs do not uphold the grooming standards of this marine corps!Sgt "police that moosestach!"?
I mean, there are a lot of various accounts of the character of men that served in Easy Company.Realistic people instead of idealized imo...
I was wondering if that was the guy who looked like Walz. Should have known.
I know im just a bear but I hated 1917. Was pumped to see it and saw it in theaters. Honestly not even a really war movie in my opinion. It was a summer action suspense/ thriller using ww1 as the backdrop essentially.1917 is another one I enjoyed a lot
Action movie all the way...also didn't care for it, give me All Quiet any dayI know im just a bear but I hated 1917. Was pumped to see it and saw it in theaters. Honestly not even a really war movie in my opinion. It was a summer action suspense/ thriller using ww1 as the backdrop essentially.

OG for me, also highly recommend they shall not grow old, should still be on netflix as well as the new All quietEager to see that movie. Which version? Ive heard they are very different. Even the original one has multiple versions of significant difference in length
The 1930 Universal American version is... enjoyable, but definitely has a golly-gee quality to it. Louis Wolheim was great in it. Germany came out with a comparable film the same year called "Westfront 1918" that's in my opinion a better film, but they didn't have Universal's budget.Eager to see that movie. Which version?
