Alright, Irredeemable and Incorruptible weren't bad. Waid recycled some of his phrases for both. Both were plenty weird in spots, but there's interesting action and twists throughout.

I'm currently working my way through "The Pirates Laffite" about Jean and Pierre Laffite. I love New Orleans and was always fascinated with Laffites bar there.

I also just picked up the Kingsman graphic novel, loved the movie, decided to check out the source material.

If you enjoy Kingsman, the writer Mark Millar has a few other mini series in trade paperback that are really good. Some are being developed as movies.

Without wanting to sound pretentious it's a wonderful book.

I've read it a few times and passed it on to friends who have read it and passed it on again. God knows where my copy is now. Aren't books great like that?

I'm about halfway through Homicide : A Year on the Killing Streets. It's by the dude who created HBO's The Wire. For a year the author follows a homicide unit around Baltimore. Pretty intense stuff. It's a very good read so far.

I've just read the Saga tpb, which is awesome! I'm now re-reading the Deadpool kills all the things in anticipation of the upcoming movie! Before that, I was reading Black Science and Southern Bastards.

Black Science is my favourite book on the shelves. I've read the first two tpb of southern bastards and going to catch up on single issues.
I tried Deadpool when Duggan and Posehns run started a couple years ago. Didn't read passed the first arc about the dead presidents. I prefer Deadpool on a team like Remender's x-force.

I hear that. Sometimes there can be too much Deadpool.

But I'm so psyched for the movie!!

Just finished "Champion of the World" by Chad Dundas. Chad is the co-host of the Co-Main Event podcast and this is his first novel. I pre-ordered more to support him than anything but gave it a shot and found myself enjoying quite a bit.

I've now started on NOFX's auto-biography. Great read for any fan of the band. I'd even recommend to anyone who likes music auto-biographies.
Band members individually tell their stories. Each chapter starts with the name of who's responsible for the chapter.
