What are you talking about? Few months of sprawl training! Go troll someone else.
what am I talking about? I am talking about the quote from you.

"Sweets said:
He is a better ground fighter but if Conor gets a camp dedicated to Frankie he'll be fine. Conor looses if he starts chasing hard while Frankie circles that's it. If he is any way patient Frankie's toast."

how do you suppose he would be fine? learn some sprawling to keep the fight on the feet? and possibly a ground game? in what...a couple months of a training camp? or do you want to give Conor a few years to get even close to Frankie's level on the ground before they fight.

point is, I find it hilarious you think he'll "be fine" after a camp. one...singular...training camp.

I hope he knows that himself. Some fighters turned into that after they got obsessed with their power.
All he has to do is watch his own tape.

He had a proper camp.. and he chose to fight Nate.
If you don't think a switch 11 days out effects the fighter with a full camp I don't know what to tell you, you're wrong, why do you think everyone else pulls when that happens???

Which is an adjustment. Mentally, yes, but it impacts the physical actions. I mean I know you mean the fights he had beforehand, and fair enough, he never seemed to have a problem with it. But once it is out, it may not be so easy to get it back in, for himself. And he might be desperate because he comes of a loss and has even higher pressure. But that is speculation of course.
Come on now, that's wild speculation one fight at short notice is extremely weak evidence of anything.

Exactly, we will see. :)
And its not like uppercuts will be any surprise. Also, uppercuts leave you quite open, it is dangerous to throw them, especially against a quicker opponent. Conor might get broken down because he throws them.
Does it matter if they're surprising when they are wobbling your brain around. To extend your logic Frankie's wrestling is no surprise therefore Conor should break him with counter strikes to his shots, see how that's bullshit?

Yeah I get that. But neither of those fights had Frankie Edgar pace nor this pressure surrounding it. And now that it is known that Conor is vulnerable there..
What??? Conor went out too hard and gassed himself because as usual he dictated the pace, what makes you think Frankie will be able to dictate the pace, they only way he does that is spamming TD's, because he's not doing it with strikes.

His wrestling/bjj is better then you're willing to give credit for and you know it. Hence trolling and I'm not arsed having a debate with an opponent intentionally misrepresents facts in an attempt to start me on the back foot. One camp? The fuck are you talking about he's been training wrestling for a decade.

when has he shown he can hang with even mediocre wrestlers? when he got tapped by a BJJ guy? or against a much smaller Mendes? when exactly has he shown that he can hang with the likes of Frankie (one of the best ground fighters in the UFC)???

I am genuinely not trolling. I fail to see how you can say those things with a straight face. you must be new to the sport.

Conor is not everyone else and always says he is not training for a specific fighter. Is that not true? If that's good or bad is another question.

Come on now, that's wild speculation one fight at short notice is extremely weak evidence of anything.
There is a recency bias to it, certainly. But to say that this won't affect him at all is speculation as well. We will see.

Does it matter if they're surprising when they are wobbling your brain around. To extend your logic Frankie's wrestling is no surprise therefore Conor should break him with counter strikes to his shots, see how that's bullshit?
Why is it bullshit to talk about the cons of techniques? You said yourself he looked reckless versus Nate. That involved his uppercuts as well, where he was open as a barn-door, and which by the way were not very effective.
Of course you can do the same about other techniques. And no, uppercuts and takedowns are not a very good comparison, I don't think.
And I never wrote 'should', I wrote 'might'. So relax.

What??? Conor went out too hard and gassed himself because as usual he dictated the pace, what makes you think Frankie will be able to dictate the pace, they only way he does that is spamming TD's, because he's not doing it with strikes.
What makes me think Frankie dictates pace? Uhm, do I really have to answer that? I mean, I'm sure that you know.
And of course he can do it with strikes as well. With both.

Question is, what makes you think Frankie will only be on the backpedal not doing anything but spamming TDs?
I'm fairly certain Conor would spend a lot of the fight on the counter. Which is fine for him in theory, he can do that too, and do that well.

I would like to point out that Kavanaugh and Nelson are not slouches on the ground. Cmac's bound to have some skills rolling with them. In fact he's shown good BJJ sweeps and passes in the past. In reference to Conor's last fight, Nate is slick on the ground, and Cmac was already dazed at that point.

Mendes has a much better double than Frankie, much better. Frankies wrestling style is a lot closer to the Eastern European style Conor trains, there is plenty of clues Conor will handle Frankie easier than Chad.

Ye I'm new but unlike a lot of you, this isn't the only sport I understand, I've probably played more sports than a lot of you have watched and that's not getting into what I've watched. Oh ye I have several qualifications in sport and excercise, including coaching tickets for two sports which are vastly more mechanically complicated than any element of MMA except BJJ. But ye sit on your high horse cause you have more watched fights under your belt.

Rd 1 Diaz x guard reversal, RD1 mendes all of his work to get out of Mendes clinch, Rd 1 Mendes forrcing chad to chain three turns to hit his double. I'm not bothered giving you more examples.
Point is Psychotropic Wanderlust @Psychotropic Wanderlust, just because someone has better skills than you on the ground, doesn't mean you suck at it. Maia beat Gunnar on the ground. Gunnar is still a bad dude.

so bad he got bested by the great Rick Story.
It's BJJ. Sometimes you just get tapped out. I've only done in house military ground fighting and i know this. You've said before that you have taken BJJ classes. You should know this as well. Getting tapped doesn't mean you suck, it means you're human.

I have had my blue belt for the last 1.5 years.

we are losing track of the topic at hand. and that is that Conor has ZERO game for a beast like Frankie.

ZERO.
