It's very unlikely Frankie beats Conor, hate is the reason a lot think he will.
Style is the main reason. .......

Frankie is the opposite of "stuck in the mud".
This goes several rounds......

I am not wrong though guys. he was not swept. just because you fan boys think it was a sweep doesnt mean it was.

dozens of experts thought Conor was going to win the fight. were they right?

definitions

sweep:

"A sweep, when referred to in the context of ground fighting is a technique used to transition from a neutral or inferior position to a dominant position, such as a practitioner moving from in an opponent's guard to full mount, hence the alternative term 'reversal' as the dominance of positions have been reversed."

scramble:

"scrambling ability is the ability to push off your feet to defend or escape without a set technique in mind"
Those just absolutely closed the case against you. In MMA a fighter on his back is in an inferior position from the fighter on top of him (unless said fighter is Werdum) and that was absolutely a set technique Conor used.

I've never seen you try to gif your way out of a debate, hence awesome gif game.
how am I to debate your nonsense? because thats what you bring to the table.

"Mendes has a much better double than Frankie, much better. Frankies wrestling style is a lot closer to the Eastern European style Conor trains, there is plenty of clues Conor will handle Frankie easier than Chad."

that shit is nonsense. pure nonsense. how you even quantify that is beyond me. please try as I would love to know your reasoning.

"Ye I'm new but unlike a lot of you, this isn't the only sport I understand, I've probably played more sports than a lot of you have watched and that's not getting into what I've watched. Oh ye I have several qualifications in sport and excercise, including coaching tickets for two sports which are vastly more mechanically complicated than any element of MMA except BJJ. But ye sit on your high horse cause you have more watched fights under your belt."

so getting into a pissing contest with some noob on how much sports you watch is going to make this debate any better or more engaging? should I be coming back with how many sports I watch?

tell me, what in that mess of text you call an "argument" would you call meaningful?

the gif response was the only response to that useless post.

Now you are throwing words around to discredit us. You just like discrediting people, right? Makes you look to be in the right, hm?
Go and read all my posts in this thread, I debated with Sweets @Sweets 'against' Conor, and then ended up doing his dirty work 'against' your stance. Now you call me a fanboy? Get outta here.

You are actually discrediting yourself with all of this, massively.

Prediction = Analysis?! ?! ?! ?!

This is hopeless.

lol, no it wasnt man. I didnt know he could set up those techniques with not even a second to prepare to mentally gage whats happening but cant seem to know what to do in the event of a RNC.

I may not "do bjj", but i spent several years practicing US Army hand to hand combat techniques. I'd be willing to roll with any blue belt on the planet. I doubt i'd completely suck at it. I'd probably get tapped as well. I don't see the point in this.

Dear Lord, i hope no one confuses any of my ADHD ramblings for me being upset at any given point. I love a healthy debate, and just happen to be in the mood for one today. If i came off that way i do apologize. :D

guarenteed you tap me too. the difference is I am not running around calling your scramble a sweep :D

either way, whatever you believe, we all agree that Frankie-two-times, is going to beat Conor-two-taps right? RIGHT?! :leftright:

I think it could go either way, but that's why it intrigues me so damn much. For example, I knew within my heart of hearts Jacare would tap Camozzi. That matchup bored me. And it ended up being this:

This one has a lot more possible outcomes, so of course i want to see it and i'm super amped. :D
