Did you feel the same way about Nick Diaz last failed drug test and subsequent suspension? It is his job to know what he ingests. So right there he failed. Period. There have to be concequences if this drug program is to be taken seriously.

I haven't been following. What's his story? Didn't he claim the same defense? They already look bad. Really bad. The only person I have any empathy toward in this situation is Brock.
As far as I've heard he hasn't claimed anything, and has an upcoming hearing. Meanwhile the UFC is letting him take a beating publicly, and the fans decided he was a cheater 8 years before he ever failed a drug test. Truth be told at the rate the WWE is suspending people for use, I'm more likely to believe Brock if he says he had a tainted supplement than I am Jones who put on like 30 lbs of muscle in the past 6 months or so.I haven't been following. What's his story? Didn't he claim the same defense?
That is weed. He took weed knowingly. My position on weed is different...Did you feel the same way about Nick Diaz last failed drug test and subsequent suspension?
Then your opinion on the subject is invalid. That is weed. He took weed knowingly. My position on weed is different...
The subject of weed is entirely different than estrogen blockers. Then your opinion on the subject is invalid.
I don't trust any of them to be honest. Brock included. As far as I've heard he hasn't claimed anything, and has an upcoming hearing. Meanwhile the UFC is letting him take a beating publicly, and the fans decided he was a cheater 8 years before he ever failed a drug test. They're both banned. They both knew they were banned. They both used them anyways. They both failed their drug tests. So no, it isn't different. It's exactly the same. The subject of weed is entirely different than estrogen blockers.
That's part of why I'm empathetic towards Brock. They all are, but they aren't all held accountable for it for years upon years before failing a test.
You can't compare weed and estrogen blocker just to invalidate my opinion. While both banned, this is where the similarities end. You simply don't get swol from weed, while estrogen blockers may have a more intended purpose. Let's just say, you don't take estrogen blockers to party it up on a friday night. Much like Jones' Cocaine use can simply not be compared with sole performance enhancing substances. They're both banned. They both knew they were banned. They both used them anyways. They both failed their drug tests. So no, it isn't different. It's exactly the same.
It's you, who's invalidating your opinion. The people who make the rules say they're the same, and your opinion on the substances themselves is completely irrelevant to the application of the rules. If you want to say "Substance A shouldn't be banned" Sure, I might even agree with you. But when you say "That substance shouldn't be enforced because of my personal opinion of it." Then you're 100% wrong. They know the rules and they break them, end of story. You can't compare weed and estrogen blocker just to invalidate my opinion. While both banned, this is where the similarities end.
Yes we can because your stance is that a failed test is a failed test and punishable as such. You can't compare weed and estrogen blocker just to invalidate my opinion. It is not like you may accidentally have ingested weed while drinking your pre-workout shake. Estrogen blockers are found in more purposeful supplements, such as testosterone boosters which the FDA recalls as soon they take note of it. In that realm, the athlete is already engaging in playing with fire, aiming for deliberate advantage over their opponent. To accidentally have taken them really means, to have been accidentally caught with too much tinkering.
Even if taken unknowingly, they were not meant to fight their clean opponent, for safety and fairness of the sport. Also they have demonstrated they are unable to keep their bodies clean, therefore unable in providing an even playing field, and safe environment for their fellow fighters. Concequences such as suspension still seem like the best lesson, and safeguard for clean athletes.
2 years? No, I don't agree, but that was the UFC so proud to introduce...that is on them.
I am not complaining either way. Banned is banned. But to bring up Nick Diaz' weed habits to somehow to make these juicers look better, nah man, not going there.Yes we can because your stance is that a failed test is a failed test and punishable as such.
Dope is banned the same as peds, period. Regardless of how you feel its still on the list and subject to same punishment. When dope is made legal and taken off banned substance list them you can complain.
Can't wait till the remix comes out.if its banned and its in your system first offense, two year ban.
heres a poem.
its banned.
its in your system when you were tested.
your ass gets banned.
simple right.
banned substance in your test....
your ass gets banned for 2 years.
simple.
It's you, who's invalidating your opinion.
No it's pretty much you. Then your opinion on the subject is invalid.
I'm not a liar"I never knowingly lied" some popular American liar I can't remember
Why? Its one in the same. The rules are the rules and how you want them enforced is with a Iron fist. You don't get to pick and choose because of your opinions. A banned substance is a banned substance. You can bring out any stat you want about how dope doesn't help and shouldn't be banned and how ignorant people are , but simple fact it is illegal. Its that easy man, If its on the list just don't do itI am not complaining either way. Banned is banned. But to bring up Nick Diaz' weed habits to somehow to make these juicers look better, nah man, not going there.
No, I'm just informing you.No it's pretty much you.
As I've said, the rules dictate that is isn't different. So, no it isn't different to be caught with one than the other. Until they change the rules (which I believe they should) there is absolutely no difference in failing a drug test.I am saying is to be caught with weed is different than to be caught with manipulative substances that are aimed solely for juicing.
He isn't more or less likely to be juicing than anyone else.Is Nick Diaz a juicer?
Just pointing out a hilarious double standard people have with drug testing. People here say "I don't except Jon Jones excuse. A drug test is pass or fail, period." Then when it's a different drug and a fighter they like "Well, yeah he failed, but I don't think they should test for it so they should go easy on him."I that what you are aiming at here?
Because you don't seem to be willing to understand that your opinion is not an official decision by the USADA, and is actually incorrect. Here's an article on someone getting a shorter suspension because "he didn't knowingly" take a banned substance:if its banned and its in your system first offense, two year ban.
