It is. Jordan signed him. He's starting to cross over. He's only been fighting here in the states for 4 years and he's Cossack. That's very impressive the attention he's been able to draw.
This is a fight I definitely want to see. Brook is a big dude for his weight, so he shouldn't be out-classed. That said, I still believe that GGG will win. I bet Eubank Jr is pissed now.Gennady Golovkin vs Kell Brook September 10th
Brook and Tommy Hearns are the biggest welterweights I've ever seen. I've read Brook walks around at 175. Golovkin weighs about 168-170 on fight night. The weight will be close.
I'm picking Golovkin in 6. Brook doesn't have the chin or the skills to win. I don't even think he's the best welterweight. I Thurman is the best,but he's still a good fighter. He's undefeated and has a win over an at the time undefeated Shawn Porter,as does Thurman. His resume is thin outside of that win.
I know some might not like the match up but I dig it. Brook is better than Wade. He's a name in the UK and will bring a lot of attention to this fight and hopefully that will increase the publics demand for a unification with Saunders. Saunders has not been very keen on fighting Golovkin. It's not like it's any worse than Canelo-Khan. I actually rate Brook over Khan but GGG is better than Canelo.
