£6,000 per square foot: London leads the world in 'super-prime' housing and property experts say the capital's popularity shows no signs of waning | Daily Mail OnlineIt's obviously "worth" it as per the market. I'm just showing the contrast from what @Passive Jay posted in Detroit to Vancouver.
That's nuts. That's was from 2012, has it gone up since?
This is the nicest house in New Jersey:Damn i could get that right now lol. For 500k im not seeing anything like that around me.
Yeah the housing market has steadily increased for a few years now. Some people think it is another bubble. Might be going down with Brexit, though. That's nuts. That's was from 2012, has it gone up since?
honestly, that seems a bit ridiculous to pay if you're just going to tear it down and build a new place. Are there any empty lots or cheaper homes in the area?A guy down the road from me just bought a 1.9 mil house and ripped it down and they at pouring a new foundation right now
I live near Jason, I'm assuming it's either lake front or close to it. Okanagan Lake property is rather pricey.honestly, that seems a bit ridiculous to pay if you're just going to tear it down and build a new place. Are there any empty lots or cheaper homes in the area?
Pffft look at Tenafly NJ my man and then get back to me.This is the nicest house in New Jersey:
Ya I assumed that. Same as Vancouver and BC is pretty big so prices tapper off pretty good in comparison. Those prices are from the centre of London, though, and wouldn't hold across the whole city.
A lot of land with those. I don't think you'd be able to find comparable properties in London. 5 acres would be the closest. I'll see what I can find.Ya I assumed that. Same as Vancouver and BC is pretty big so prices tapper off pretty good in comparison.
Looking on realtor.ca these are the 3 most expensive properties in my area, all over $10M.

The fridge has to be opposite the stove and sink, right? At least that's how I've placed it when trying to picture the layou.. That's weird. Plus it seems like the would have went with a counter depth fridge to make it more seamless. Also... Unless it's an optical illusion, why in the hell don't have they have some sort of island? The cart is tiny for the space.Something about the kitchen bothers me (I think the way the fridge is located on that wall) but on the whole, it is beautiful.

This sounds vaguely familiarWeren't they giving houses away for free not long ago, with the condition that you had to bring it up to code and actually live in Detroit?
The housing market in Detroit has changed dramatically in the last 7 or 8 years.Weren't they giving houses away for free not long ago, with the condition that you had to bring it up to code and actually live in Detroit?
Not on the lakeshorehonestly, that seems a bit ridiculous to pay if you're just going to tear it down and build a new place. Are there any empty lots or cheaper homes in the area?
