Essex County College hired pop culture commentator and producer Lisa Durden as an adjunct professor of communications, in part for her past appearances on such networks as Fox News. She’d also built a relationship with the college over the years by inviting students to intern with her, assisting on TV and documentary production projects. But it took just one angry phone call about her recent appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight for her to lose her teaching job, she says.



Basically she's a pundit that got a teaching job for being as controversial as possible on Fox, and then lost her teaching job for being as controversial as possible on Fox.

How does the first amendment protect a group trying to ban a certain race from assembling with them?

Only for businesses and other similar structured entities.

BLM can easily shoutdown and shame all white people that come near them in public during a protest. But in public, said white people are in no obligation to leave.

I can't tell a black person to get out of my shop for being black.

I missed that, but yes is the answer, as long as that white person identifies as a black person, because racist gatherings must be inclusive of the mentally ill. In fact I'd go as far as to say it's a prerequisite.
