I was watching their panel earlier.
A couple of the talking heads were just going at each other and another guy basically called them out and said, "if you guys are the best we've got to dicuss this and this how it is going to be discussed, then what chance does this populace have???". And they chilled out. Was pretty good moment.
One of the guys made a good point, not so much that Trump needs to get on his soap box about the right wing groups (said groups feed on federal government over reach creating martyrs) but rather do it in a way to reach out to the young men involved publicly that we can offer them a different way than what is going on. I think there's probably a lot of utility to that approach. The 1990's paramilitary rise was only empowered by Clinton pushing too hard early on. I worry that pushing this to the dark reaches of the internet will just make Spencer and Co more powerful.

Just look at Twitter, Facebook, and forums. Politics (especially the past two elections) have made the American people go completely off the deep end. Many have lost all ability to think rationally or for themselves. It's crazy and embarrassing. ANY tweet by Trump, or about Trump, is met with thousands of replies by people from both sides being complete idiots. I've seen tweets by Trump where some people will respond 20-30 times. Like they think Trump's reading it, or people give a fuck about their opinion. People getting fired from their jobs because they can't refrain from posting stupid shit online. Others losing friends and family members because of political differences. It's ego and entitlement, plain and simple...listen to ME, MY opinion is important. Whining, bitching, moaning and crying for months on end now. No rational thought or productive dialogue...just knee jerk screaming of racism, sexism, bigotry, etc - while making the same hate filled, discriminatory remarks they claim to be opposed of.
I've got more important things to worry about. Trump got elected. He's here for another 3 1/2 or 7 1/2 years. He's not going to be impeached. Nothing some entitled twat on social media says is going to change that. Nothing any protester in America does is going to change it.
Time for people to accept the hand that's been dealt, turn the mainstream media off for a while, worry about getting shit together in their own lives, and focus energy on being part of the solution.

This was domestic terrorism and the only people responsible for terrorism are terrorists. Trump blaming "all sides" is disgusting and even Republican senators are calling him out on that.

I won't argue the semantics about what constitutes a terrorist act and what doesn't, but there is a huge difference between what that guy did and what say an islamic suicide bomber does. An islamic suicide bomber goes amidst a huge crowd with the purpose of taking as many lives as possible. I can't be in this guy's mindset, but I doubt that when he traveled to that city he had planned to drive his car into a group of people.
When you are in an environment where antifas and nationalists are fighting, it's a battlefield, it's war. In war, there are casualties. This time someone died, and it won't be the last one. Not only in the US, in Europe as well, shit is just starting.

If the guy did it because of white supremacy, Id have no problem and would want Trump to mention that this domestic terrorist attack was brought on by hateful white supremacist beliefs

He doesn't have to specifically name people responsible; he can't if he doesn't know. But don't call out EVERYONE. Call out the people who did it.

Actually he drove his car into the back of another car if you look at the video Leigh. And then there was a chain reaction and folks went flying off of the front of the car he hit.
