The last advisory says that we should have a pretty good idea of exactly where it's going at 11 am (25 mins from now).

Nah, the average Joe travel restriction never lifted.

We visit those other ones, so Sally can empathize that she stopped in St Maarten during her cruise or whatever.

News from Cuba is a straight vaccuum outside of specifically looking it up on the net.

Yep.

If it wasn't for baseball players, boxers, cigars, sandwiches, and fiery women with nice asses most Americans wouldn't care at all if Cuba was wiped off the Earth just because of how the nation has been painted by politicians and the media over the last 60 years.

Why so little mention of Cuba?
I think it's because of the proximity to Florida. 90 miles off our coast, a hit on Cuba is pretty much a hit on South Florida, so if it's hitting them, you know it's about to cream us, and the media (and us living in Florida) are all about what happens here to us at this point.

3 hours or less by speedboat from Miami to Cuba.

I've heard there's a port where they don't check passports and where Americans can visit the island.

Never tried it.

Edit - might take 3.5-4 from Miami to Cuba because you're going against the Gulfstream. But from Havana to Miami (going with the gulfstream) you could do it in 3 hours if you were determined enough.
