That' why I asked you in the previous post lolI could have told you that.

Not really a trap, more an exercise. You seem like a pretty rational, average guy as far as I can tell. If those are the reasons you'd want to own a gun, why don't we assume that those are the reasons everyone else would to? Why would your friends think that owning a gun would turn you into some sort of bloodlusting monster? The answer is social engineering. Our government has convinced us they need guns, but we can't be trusted with them.I feel like this is some trap your leading me into but sure, I'll go along with you for now.
Fair play but then stories like this come out and it's tough to say they're totally wrong. Not really a trap, more an exercise. You seem like a pretty rational, average guy as far as I can tell. Interesting.Fair play but then stories like this come out and it's tough to say they're totally wrong.
I don't think it's so much that the people I associate with think that guns are bloodlust monsters but are just aware of how dangerous they can be. That and if kids are around theres a good chance the adults are now going to have a conversation with them that they aren't really prepared for. The best I'd have for my kids is respect the machine and what it can do and you'll be just fine for the most part.
For the record I grew up with guns in my house as my dad and other family and friends are active hunters, have been forever. I'm comfortable around them but would be hesitant to have a few in my own home right now.
For your social engineering thing how do you think the talks go south of our border? Both my parents remarried Americans, I lived in the US during my RV trip for almost a year and have other contacts tbere so I feel I have a general understanding on how they view their gun culture. Without any embellishment every state we visited where we got into talks with locals guns came up rather quickly and it always had this "lookie lookie at what we get down here" feel with a shitty grin. Some states more than others, Arizona was ridiculously proud. I couldn't step foot into tackle bait shops without them picking up I'm Canadian then them feeling compelled to show me their gun(s). As an aside when I worked in northern Alberta we had Americans working along side. The best example were these 3 brother from one of the southern states. These guys would go out of their way to show of their carry/conceal license in every little chilly room they went into. I witnessed it at least on 4 desperate occasions.
Not sure I'm buying into this technique being used in this mass killing.
If that's what I think it is, it's a stock that you can put on your gun, and it takes the inertia of the blast (the kick) and makes the gun fire again in quick succession. Basically the gun rocks back and forth and the each time it rocks it makes the gun fire again, effectively turning a semi-auto into an auto. I know a guy who has the setup for it here in Cali. I haven't heard anything about the shooter using this, but if it's true I'm guessing something will be done to make it illegal. I'd likely support that myself; when I saw what you can do with it, I was shocked that it hadn't been illegal yet. Also reading that it was a semi auto that was modified to be full auto called bump fire or something like that
Apparently this is not illegal?
Anybody in the states know about this?
It is illegal, all automatic weapons made after 1986 are illegal for private citizens. Pre-86 weapons require registration, extensive FBI background checks, & approx. $20k to pay for the processAlso reading that it was a semi auto that was modified to be full auto called bump fire or something like that

Owning a gun in Quebec is, I'd bet, even more taboo than in the rest of Canada given our recent history with mass-shootings.Not really a trap, more an exercise. And that seems rather normal. I'm really not trying to paint every American as a gun but here, seriously. It just goes back to my earlier post where I said US gun culture is crazy. I can talk about guns with whoever but when I'm in situations like I described above it has a very obvious "my dicks bigger" vibe to it. The 3 brothers I mention would come back from days off and talk about how they'd strap guns to themselves and hit the mall with the family. For one why, for two why add that in to your story in such casual conversation? I use them as an extreme example of course. My mom's new husband had to sell many of his guns before moving up here and he never speaks of them unless I ask about his hunts.Interesting.
I have guns. This is about the only place I ever talk about them - other than my buddies asking me if I'm bringing my guns with me if we happen to be going some place where we can shoot.
if he did go through the process to get one legally, it takes 1-2 years, he'd have been planning this for a while.Stephen had the money to make anything happen.
Shock value. For one why, for two why add that in to your story in such casual conversation?
Any possibility the guy was set up? Two assassins located in a room next door posing as room service knocked on his door shoots him in the head with a silencer right away (suicide) take position at the window and take turns alternating weapons firing off shots. Frame the room then retreat...
Things Ike this going on in LV should have all kinds of video footage leading up to it no? Perhaps some may surface. I've been to LV enough times that I'm pretty sure everyone's being watched all the time. Could be way off though.^^ yup.
Be vigilant for false flag possibilities... (I already saw Hillary using this event to push her shit on Twitter)
Not saying its so, but I always feel the chances of these things being false flag scenarios are way higher than the MSM ever gives credit for. Which is never, lol
Or he just had it as a toy. Then flipped out for some reason and turned it on the public.if he did go through the process to get one legally, it takes 1-2 years, he'd have been planning this for a while.
I'm sure they would have picked a Muslim in this scenario. When pieces fit like they are supposed to, they aren't looked at as closely.Any possibility the guy was set up? If they want to take away the guns they have to frame a normal average American.shoeing that anybody can do it.I'm sure they would have picked a Muslim in this scenario. When pieces fit like they are supposed to, they aren't looked at as closely.
Your absolutely right Just about every inch of sin city is surveilledThings Ike this going on in LV should have all kinds of video footage leading up to it no? Perhaps some may surface. I've been to LV enough times that I'm pretty sure everyone's being watched all the time. Could be way off though.
sure, then all you have to do is make sure that you put all the casings and the rifles that you used in room with the dead body. Oh - and make sure you grab all the security camera footage on your way out.Any possibility the guy was set up? Correct. Cameras are everywhere in LV. Parking lots. Elevators. Hallways. Streets. Stairwells.Things Ike this going on in LV should have all kinds of video footage leading up to it no? Ya I hadn't heard of this before but the stuff I read described it exactly how you doIf that's what I think it is, it's a stock that you can put on your gun, and it takes the inertia of the blast (the kick) and makes the gun fire again in quick succession.
