Fuck.

Anyone on here that had family or relatives in Vegas I'm hoping they are all fine.
My mom and dad landed in Vegas a couple hours before this happened. I was worried af until I talked to them. My dad is on the gaming board for a casino. They go to conventions and stuff in Vegas.

Her and I have encountered dead bodies twice. Both times at night on two lane roads in the middle of nowhere. They both were head-on collisions with cars full of people. The feeling is very very eerie seeing dead bodies scattered all over. I was just a kid but can remember exactly how it felt. I dont know why I am posting this. Seeing the people layed out on the ground brings back memories I guess.

Fair play but then stories like this come out and it's tough to say they're totally wrong.

I don't think it's so much that the people I associate with think that guns are bloodlust monsters but are just aware of how dangerous they can be. That and if kids are around theres a good chance the adults are now going to have a conversation with them that they aren't really prepared for. The best I'd have for my kids is respect the machine and what it can do and you'll be just fine for the most part.

For the record I grew up with guns in my house as my dad and other family and friends are active hunters, have been forever. I'm comfortable around them but would be hesitant to have a few in my own home right now.

For your social engineering thing how do you think the talks go south of our border? Both my parents remarried Americans (moms new guy is retired Navy), I lived in the US during my RV trip for almost a year and have other contacts there so I feel I have a general understanding on how they view their gun culture. Without any embellishment every state we visited where we got into talks with locals guns came up rather quickly and it always had this "lookie lookie at what we get down here" feel with a shitty grin. Some states more than others, Arizona was ridiculously proud. I couldn't step foot into tackle bait shops without them picking up I'm Canadian then them feeling compelled to show me their gun(s). As an aside when I worked in northern Alberta we had Americans working along side. The best example were these 3 brother from one of the southern states. These guys would go out of their way to show of their carry/conceal license in every little chilly room they went into. I witnessed it at least on 4 desperate occasions.
Weirdos. I know a few of those kind of guys. Where I live everybody hunts/has guns. It takes a special kind of idiot to be in love with their weapons. I only take em out before I use them and have never felt the need to try and impress anyone.

Wait...did he just let the cat of the bag by mistake? Like he knows Paddock used the service elevator at Mandalay but wasn't supposed to say it, and then caught himself when Chris Wallace followed up on it. Look at his hand trembling after he says that. We better get some video released from inside the casino because there is some seriously shady stuff going on here IMO.

Ya man
I can't believe he let that slip
Was a fantastic interview even without that info but that's a bombshell and all the "conspiracy" people I've tweeted it to are ignoring it for some reason

That he uses the service elevator?
Doesn't seem all that crazy to me that a high roller given 10s of thousands of dollars worth of compts would be allowed to us it. The casino certainly doesn't want to give them any reason to go to another hotel. And perhaps having to wait (sometimes a frustrating long time) to get up or down to the 32nd floor could be a reason I suppose.

Could be but as Mr Wynn said, that would never happen at his hotel
It compromises their security

Another question that I have is, where are all of the witnesses? Are you telling me that no one was on the 32nd floor of the time that this happened? How could no one inside of the hotel not have heard all of those shots going off?

And what about when he allegedly took a hammer and broke the windows out. How did alarms not go off? How did no one down on the street hear the glass breaking or see it fall?

Did he maybe book the whole floor?

I'm also curious why the cops would have had any issue with breaching the room seeing as everything outside of a room is on camera 24/7.

Read something earlier about 200 rounds were fired out in the hallway at the unarmed security guard??? And the guy only got hit one time, in the leg. That sound fishy to anyone else?

Yep. So much of this seems like total bullshit. Vegas is THE MOST recorded city in the world. You can't walk anywhere in a casino without being on camera. Where is the video of this guy packing all of these suitcases in? I want to see that. See if he took normal elevators. See him coming and going. Why are they not releasing any of that?

Oh, I forgot. The open investigation. My guess is, we'll never see any video from inside of that casino.

In my personal opinion, not really. If you look at the statistics from the shooting itself there's no reason to believe he was a proficient marksman.

Not at all.

1. Doubt it was actually 200 rounds
2. Bump fire stocks are the most inaccurate way to engage a target.

Yeah but at that close of a distance? You would think Ray Charles could spray someone from 50 feet with 200 rounds, and land more than once.
