Its always so fucked up when authorities are clearly lying or hiding shit or changing their story. What possible explanation could there be for this behaviour, if they are genuinely trying to solve the case? I can't stand it, almost every US media-hyped shooting in the past decade is riddled with inconsistencies and suspicious/odd behavior by authorities, trying to convince of a narrative that is obviously skewed. Why? What would stop them from just telling the truth and being honest with the findings?

Reports are that he refused help with luggage
Who knows if true but that was reported 2 or 3 days after the incident

Getting things to the room would be beyond easy. I've been to Vegas roughly 100 times. I never use bell service why? Because I'm sneaking in bottles of liquor. Rolling 5ft coolers of beer, and even at one time carried a 3ft glass bong to a room. I've never one time been questioned even while passing signs that say no coolers. I also think using the service elevator would be apiece of cake. You act confident and look like you know where you're going and you can get lots of places in Vegas.

I've only been 5 or 6 times but have never had help taking my bags to the room

That pic isn’t familiar to me and I almost questioned if it was him but the expanded version looks a lot more like him than not. Wish I could give more definitive info on that one.

I was working and had my headphones in when he was doing his intro stuff and thought he said he worked at some sound lab or some shit.

Ya he works at some lab but says about halfway through that he has no actual training in forensic acoustics but it's just math and physics

A lot more to it than that. The shooting was essentially in a quad surrounded by hotels with thousands of glass windows.

We’re ok. The FIL is in Vegas trying to make arrangments for the ashes and figure out how to get all of the assets into a trust for the victims and their families. The shock is slowly wearing off and we’re trying to resume a semblance of normalcy after all of this.
