Went and selected my setup today, let me know what think.
VEG:
I went with a 5x5x6 chamber tent for veg to help separate mom', clones and vegging plants
Clones have a small space in the top right corner and will have 2 t5 lighting them
Mom's have a 1x5x4 space right below the clones (should be enough for 4 moms
The mom' are being lit with 2 LED strip lights (step up from t5's) on top and 1 LED strip on one of the sides near the bottom
I will need to rotate the mom's each watering but that isn't a problem
The veg area is 4x4x6 it will have 4 plants starting veg after a week in the clone bed and 4 plants roughly 4 weeks into veg (including clone week)
It is being lit by a 300w CFL, I was going to add an LED strip on all 3 sides but the awesome guy i talked to said to hold off on them for now and see how it goes. He was saying the 250 would be enough but gave me the 300 at the same price
Got a charcoal filter to help with odor
Flower:
The flower tent is going to have 4 plants coming into flower and 4 plants roughly 4 weeks into flower
I went with a 5x5x6 tent and it is being lit with a 1000w HPS cooltube with a 1000w digital ballist with the feature to raise and lower the power. Ballist also has a built in surge protector so the light shouldn't blow if we have a power outage
Got a charcoal filter for this one too
He's throwing in the ducting, tape, fans for the ducting and small circulation fans for both tents
I had some extra cash and want to try and reduce odor so I got a 2x2x4 tent and a hanger for drying and curing that is going to have ducting leading into the veg tent
I grabbed a nice ph tester and he's throwing in the 4l of Dutch nutrients veg a&b and bloom a&b
Also throwing in some phdown and 1 other nutrient that helps with growing but can't rememer the name of it
Oh and a clone tray and cover and my pots and shit came to 2700
Picking it up Tuesday so I can still make changes
So what says you?
Anything youd change?
Edit: I should add that the 2700 is with tax and I paid for the tax so that I can write this off as a medical expense
