based on your "funny" flair ... i dont think so lol

canon just refers to "original"

for instance, George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series is the canon to HBO's "Game of Thrones" show
tell me you have a small canon without telling me you have a small "canon"

hahah well played

but getting back to the nerd stuff. a better example would be:

- the witcher books are canon
- show is a non-canon adaptation
- and the game are non-canon, since the game have dead characters in them for instance

* sometimes marvel, DC, or Star Wars will have a movie or cartoon thats considered "non-canon" within a given continuity. shit like that

Good stuff
Reads like sanskrit to me but I am sure it makes perfect sense to some
Never heard of the witcher and I have a huge cannon

whoa there are books!?!? i alllllways try to read first before watching when there is canon material. didnt realize tho

how many? did seasons 1 and 2 parallel the books? will 3?
I can’t believe you didn’t know there were books!
Season one was more true to the book, season two was off course somewhat.
I’m not a crazy literature person. I’ll read anything that’s decently written, and sometimes I read stuff that is halfassedly written, but I do recommend reading these.

i conveniently paused at the perfect time. just got through the last segment and i thought he nailed the landing on every level. hes a wizard

I watched it for the second time at work today so I am without doubt the most learned person on here about this programme.

It does tail off but the very end is very moving and the last 15 mins set this up.

He is indeed a wizard doe.

Started off strong then it petered off at the end
It started off with laughs from the crowd, and ended with the crowd applauding. When a comedian is being applauded it's because they're not telling jokes.

That‘s not my experience of going to stand up shows.

Maybe it’s different where you live.

Could certainly be, I'd have to assume British comedy is a different flavor.

For what it's worth, the sentiment I put forward is one I often hear comedians express.

Seriously, I've read some of the comments on the imdb page, and of course that was a mistake.

People totally brought their politics with them when watching this.
I expected some unknown amount of wokeness and funny.

Not so woke. Still funny. Great stories. A lot of jokes were getting mixed reactions, he couldn't have cared less.

Midnight Mass.

it’s starts well. It looks like a stranger things type scenario.

But ten minutes in we get the Netflixification.

im into episode 2 and it still sustains. Slowish. Cliched.

but it’s well made. Will ride it out.
