I have watched a couple documentaries about this case. Man this dude Alex Murdaugh was fucked up. He stole $8m from his clients (and law firm that his great grandfather founded) that was recovered in injury lawsuits, including $3.2m from the children of the housekeeper who worked for them for over 20 years and died in an 'accident' on their property. He also stole money from a family who they were best friends with, who's son was paralyzed from the neck down in an accident. He was working with a buddy of his who was a bank President, to launder the money thru a fake annuity account. And he had a cousin of his cash over $2m in checks from stolen money. He was also being sued for $10m for a boat crash his son was involved in that killed one of his friends. So his solution was to kill his wife and son, blowing his brains completely out of his head with a 12 ga shotgun to try and make the lawsuit against him go away. Then he has that same cousin shoot him a week later, trying to make it look like there were vigilantes out to get his family. This family had a home on 1700 acres, a beach home, and he was making over $1m a year from the law firm. They drove luxury cars, took luxurious vacations, and had people working full time to manage their properties, etc. And this dude pissed it all away. What I haven't figured out is, where did all of the stolen money go because forensic accountants havent been able to find it. My guess is, he was a high stakes gambler and lost it all. He was friends with a guy named Barrett Boulware who allegedly smuggled drugs and ran a gambling ring. Just a crazy story. The trial was televised and was extremely interesting.

I'm pretty enraged at amazon adding ads I pay 16+ bucks a month and now they are going to operate the same as free services like tubi and pluto if it wasn't for the shipping I would cancel immediately.

Out today bitches! I'll be watching it over the weekend yee...

It is ridiculous that they made Griselda that sexy. I cancelled my netflix because of the price hikes and the no sharing account shenanigans only show I wanted to see on there was top boy.

liked 'em both. the doc series was very informative & obviously explains a lot more. both a decent watch.

good shit, crazy time.
I watched them both too.
Both are great in their own way.

I remember GOING OFF on this very forum when they turned off the BUY button for GME, but left the SELL button active. Blatant market manipulation, and nobody did jail time.

As always, money "fixed" the problem. I think RH had to pay out like $10 million. But that activity was 100% illegal.

Hard to believe how poorly this was handled when you realize this all happened under the watchful eye of Maxine Waters (Age: 85) who was born just before the start of WW2.

I'm pretty sure he would be bi sexual.
Are there any accounts from back then to confirm this, or is it just something you like to imagine?

:)

Maybe it's something your grandma used to tell you, like how one of the makers of that Cleopatra documentary reckoned she was definitely black?

Found this.

Moreover, when Philoxenus, the commander of his forces on the sea-board, wrote that there was with him a certain Theodorus, of Tarentum, who had two boys of surpassing beauty to sell, and enquired whether Alexander would buy them, Alexander was incensed, and cried out many times to his friends, asking them what shameful thing Philoxenus had ever seen in him that he should spend his time in making such disgraceful proposals.- Plutarch, The Life of Alexander

To the people that say he was bi/gay, leftist revisionism of history didn't start 5 years ago you know. The rumors about Alexander's sexuality are based mainly on the relationship that he had with his childhood friend and the commander of his army- Hephaestion and how much he grieved after he lost his friend. It's the same thing when they try to convince you that Sam and Frodo were really gay, I suppose a man cannot have a close male friend coz that immediately makes him gay

But also this

This article predates the Nexflix documentary: Alexander the Great: LGBT Icon? By Alexandra Birch

It seems it was perfectly normal to lay pipe both ways in those times.

Well that settles it then. If Alexander refused to buy two boy slaves, and then was really sad that his best friend from childhood died, he must DEFINITELY be gay. What other explanation could there be?

That article about how everyone was bisexual back in the day just confirms it. I mean who could doubt the veracity of the source? A history site run by the University of Manchester's student union is surely the most objectively unbiased site to go to for information on LGBTQWERTY+++ subjects.

It's 100% truth!

This type of speculation about historical figures being bi/gay is rife, and rarely based on anything other than wild conjecture. As the old saying goes, "the wish is father of the thought."

Not sure if any of those quotes can be 100%. I think they even say that not.

It's just an interesting observation from historians.
