Think about it, how else would he go? It's best he didn't drag out and never dominate again, although I say that selfishly. Go out in style. He was in a rough place, I'm sure it'll be public soon enough about what went down. This fucking hurts, man. I haven't cried in a long ass time.
 
Azerbaijan F1 GP was another great race.

Another win for Piastri, he's really driving well right now. The pass on Leclerc for the win was phenomenal.

Verstappen wasn't happy at all, he's struggling in the Red Bull, which isn't something I thought I'd be saying after the first few races. Getting passed by Norris after starting 9 places ahead will really sting. The championship is still his to lose, but one bad race/ crash could make it close over the last part of the season.
 
NASCAR is turning right today. Charlotte road course.
Dropped some $$$ on Shane Van Gisbergen (aka SVG) to win this one.
 
NASCAR is down to their Final Four
Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick

Their playoff system is stupid - but basically driver's qualify for the "playoffs" and those are the only ones eligible for the championship. Each week, more and more drivers are eliminated based on finishing order/points.

So the entire field will be racing today, but only 4 can win the championship.
They are at Phoenix - and legend Martin Truex in his last start ever will be on the pole.

The "Championship Four" drivers are all in the Top 10.

1st Byron
5th Logano
6th Blaney
7th Reddick

Shit is going to get interesting. It's on NBC.
 
Logano went from 5th to 1st on a restart in 1 lap.

Larson is giving no quarter - which I fucking love. He's racing all these guys tough. He's currently 3rd.
 
Blaney can't get around Larson and he is getting PISSED.
It's time like these I wish I could listen to communications from the car. It's available - I just don't subscribe to it.
 
Blaney finally passed Larson.

Logano still 1st
Byron 2nd - 1.6 seconds behind.
Blaney 3rd and definitely the fastest car on the track - is down 2.5 seconds and picking up about a 1/4 second a lap. 30 laps to go.

Winner take all. This is going to get nasty.

Blaney and Logano are teammates. But that shit is out the window here.

Lapped traffic is out of the way.

Blaney is .8 seconds behind.

If they wreck each other Penske will kill them both. Haha.
I think Blaney gets it.
