bro, this is not something to laugh about. she's not saying that the world blows up in 12 years. its that we are really, really close to a tipping point after which we are totally fucked
a report in November 2021 referred to 11 years, so laughing at "12 years" is dangerous, especially since we are down to nearly 10 at this point

But I'm not buying into the whole "it's gonna be so hot the earth is going to erupt in a ball of fire" any more than I bought into the whole "the earth is gonna get so cold everything is going to freeze over" from the 80s or whenever that was.
It is largely fear porn when they talk about "12 years". And it's such a ridiculous statement it actually causes me to dismiss the entire movement.

The 99.9 consensus is that the average temp will go up .5 to 1.5 degrees by the end of the decade. Not the doom and gloom apocalypse stuff. They give a whole myriad of predictions from best to worst case scenario. Have you read the ioc consensus? The fear porn is taking the worst case scenario and then using it to push your preferred $$$ agenda.
