Well not exactly tyranny most people were okay with all restrictions up until this point, but being jailed in you own home is going a bit to far.
It's more principle then any thing else, you really get the feeling of being robbed of your freedom in a free country which is a weird feeling.

The infection numbers were going down, and they had no real studies outside "we think this will help get the numbers down faster" and the UK virus will wreak havoc, if we don't do this.
The people are pissed because of the slow vaccination rate, in 3 weeks a mere 150.000 people are vaccinated that is less then 1%

All in all a shitshow
Your making perfect sense to me.
It creeps and creeps and...

Whatever it you wanna call it.
It some bullshit.

Let the healthy work and live as normal
Protect the vulnerable and let us be free

"The letter, signed by Patronis and posted online, cited the supposed strength of state's vaccination roll-out..."

What kind of world do we live in where people now think that a product performing as described is an accomplishment? Ffs.
A world where we have retards who yell retarded shit from the tops of mountains as if it was factual.

It used to be we either addressed, or ignored those people. But we certainly didn't pretend they had merit. That being said, I don't recall efficacy being the primary concern of detractors.

The world is changed and ignoring them just doesn't work unfortunately.

I don't think it's the world or them that have changed. I consistently hear it on one of the local talk stations where they spend 40% of the show trying to show off their big brains to the people who don't know any better.

Yea, but did they see it in YouTube?

Psychologists use the term “gaslighting” to refer to a specific type of manipulation where the manipulator is trying to get someone else (or a group of people) to question their own reality, memory or perceptions.

You can't just turn it around over night.
No one is going to like how you do it, but yes, you absolutely can turn it around over night if there's enough political will. Now there isn't, so ultimately it's moot, but it isn't an issue of can't.

I disagree, change takes time.

You could issue a federal stay at home order and pay people to stay at home for 3 weeks. It would curb things pretty quickly, especially coupled with the vaccines you folks are now administering. It sucks, it would be wildly unpopular but you could do it. The unpopular part is why they won't.

I don't think they'd ever get congress to approve that.

How much are they paying?

$800/week per person who's had a job in the last 12 months seems reasonable as a one size fits all amount.

Joey Joe holds all 3 levels of the government.

That doesn't seem reasonable.
Donny held all 3 levels as well, look what he got done.

It's more than what the average American takes home every week, which makes it a half measure to keep the middle class where they need to be, be a winfall for those who make less, and at the very least be some extra walking around money for those who probably don't need help at all. It's also not impossible to introduce further measures as necessary.

Remember the "lack of political will" part of my previous post? Yeah, that.
