I don't want that in my life. 3 bed, 2 bath is really all I want in a house. 2 car garage would be nice, but not necessary.
Fwiw, I personally think a 2 car garage is necessary. We don’t park in the garage normally, but I need space to work on shit and keep my toys.

Compared to places I’ve looked at in bigger Canadian cities, yes.
I'm in a suburb of one of those. I'll be very honest and say that property here is way, way over valued, but it is what it is. It'll be good for whenever I want to retire I guess.

Sounds like Austin. Glad I bought in 2008 when the market was in the shitter. Our house has almost tripled in 12 years. It’s practically impossible to find a house with a mortgage as low as ours now in town. At least not one that doesn’t need a complete overhaul or torn down. Prices are insane if you want to be close to downtown.

Right now people are regularly paying 20, 30, or 40k over list price just to actually get a house locked in bought. It’s crazy. Sellers market big time right now.

well that was Saturday when they imposed a Curfew in The Netherlands, from 21:00 until 04:30 you are not allowed to leave your home.
Unless you have to work, walk your dog, attend a TaLkShOw, or schoolexams.

The last two days riot's broke out in a lot of cities in the Netherlands the biggest was in Eindhoven it started out as a peaceful protest, than the mayor of the city told the people that the demonstration was not allowed.
The riot police came in to sweep the streets, the protest turned in to a riot after the police used sticks, a watercanon and teargas.
Day 2 and 3 a lot of youth copied what happened in other cities and at 21:00 when the curfew starts they go out on the streets vandalize shit.

It's a shitshow pretty much I'm not for this curfew, the last time we had one was in 2nd world war imposed by the Nazi's
But these kids are going crazy and vandalizing stores that have been closed for months by the government.
The Police is acting like the nazi gestapo, and acting like they have absolute power.

Go on twitter type in #eindhoven #avondklokrellen #wijzijnmetmeer to see the shitshow.

Edit: I work at night i need to have a written statement from my employer and a second one written by myself to state the exact times i need to be outside, the police decides if get fined or not at there discretion

Well not exactly tyranny most people were okay with all restrictions up until this point, but being jailed in you own home is going a bit to far.
It's more principle then any thing else, you really get the feeling of being robbed of your freedom in a free country which is a weird feeling.

The infection numbers were going down, and they had no real studies outside "we think this will help get the numbers down faster" and the UK virus will wreak havoc, if we don't do this.
The people are pissed because of the slow vaccination rate, in 3 weeks a mere 150.000 people are vaccinated that is less then 1%

All in all a shitshow
