Do you consider me a "true anti-vaxxer"? Not sure what ^^^ that sentence has to do with anything I have posted, this entire thread is about Covid and the Vaccines for Covid...I don't think there has been much discussion of other vaccines.

I assume you are aware at the many ways that definition has/is/and will be changing?

I think it has gained multiple new definitions in the last 18 months.

I just don't like to label people(all people, has nothing to do with me) just so I can put them into a group, that does discussion a disservice. Their position may be much more nuanced and complicated than a simple label allows.

People harassing others over medical choices is never something I support.

To me they are anti covid vaccine protesters then.

To rational people anti-vax is someone who is anti vaccination. It's pretty straightforward. The superlative explanations like "Someone who opposes vaccine mandates" is ridiculous and everyone but the most die hard realizes that.

Well when you called them anti-vax you didn't clarify which vaccine they were anti, or if they were anti any vaccine...So pardon me for asking for clarity.
Plenty of people I considered rational have now started using such superlative explanations and definitions since covid vaccination became the thing.

Using a clear definition/label isn't too much to ask, I don't require it for conversation but it helps keep the communication crystal clear.


I agree with you that harassing people going into treatment or a clinic is bullshit.
That is the bottom line and what got us started on this exchange.
