@Rhino from the article above:

After the peak, case numbers and deaths are expected to drop for 10 weeks or more, until they reach a fairly low level, which may not be zero. In the summer months especially, the case numbers are expected to reduce because people spend more time out of doors and are less likely to be confined at close quarters in small rooms in a house or office with people who are infected.
Just on the topic of 2 week ramp up, the plateauing, then the question of how long to recover.
Looks like near June 1 is where this thing is just part of who we are.

Or sparkuri @sparkuri is right and we all die in May 2020 instead of that being the recovery month.

That's what I'm finding the most frustrating about this situation. As someone taking this seriously, I can't help but notice that the media is deliberately inciting fear, and then social medai ends up being full of people who are either completely over reacting, or not reacting at all.
We've created a system that uses views to make money to get our news. If you want to break that support your local journalists. It's about decentralization of power away from these outlets that are used to shape public opinion.

I'm not the one sharing them on the forum.

I have a couple jobs for small business that I am gonna ask if they want to postpone so I don't put them in a bad spot if their income drops to 30% of normal...I will be fine
Just don't wanna cause anybody to lose jobs or create un needed stress.
I have 3 days left on my current project. Next project supposed to start end of week. Kinda curious how far through I'll make it before I dont have suppliers to complete it.

That's not new.
You better be careful.
The U.S. has a BIG C***, and they will bend you over & tap you 300 different painful ways.
And just when you think the tapping is over, they bend you over the other direction and tap you 300 ways again.

A little tap-tap-taparoo

So has anyone here basically just sat on their couch all day?
lol
I made a trip to the hospital yesterday and today.
Other than that I am home. Cleaning, grilling, shitposting this thread. That's about it.
About to go for a jog and then do some paperwork.

I anticipate this is my routine for a month.
Home ->Work -> Home

I will probably give it another week or so to see where my efforts are best used and start thinning out my clinic schedule. Move the well exams etc 30 days out.

Ya
I don't wanna do a bunch of work I am not gonna get paid for either.
Nothing more frustrating for a self employed person IMO

I'm seriously considering going to the McDonald's drive thru for a quarter pounder. Trying to decide the cost/benefit ratio around it.
