just relistened to the beginning, heres what i was referring to

joe's very first question was "is there a moment - cause every civilian wants to know - when a president gets into office where someone like you has to sit them down - they just got elected - someone like you has to sit them down and go 'alright, buddy. here's whats going on in the world"

not sure if you listen to all his podcasts, but in many of his podcasts over the last year, Joe will say how Obama promised so much, but "who knows. maybe he got sworn in and was told the truth about the world. and he couldnt do what he had promised"

so although Joe didnt state alll of that, his introductory question was more than met the eye. it was a direct nod to his ignorance in terms of corporate politicians like Obama straight up lying to voters during the election process. because thats how the establishment works

but people like Joe are dumb enough to try to fabricate a reason to still believe in him (Joe believes Michelle Obama would win. and he is probably right. but although he hasnt said as much, it seems as if he thinks she would do a good job - which she would ... for corporations)
No, I don't listen to many of his podcasts.
I don't think that question is too shitty. I don't know how much power a president actually has. DC is a greasy machine with wheels in constant, twisted motion.

And 100% Michelle Obama would win if she ran. Does she have political aspirations?

Let's be honest - after Trump and Biden, anyone with a modicum of competence will be a welcome change. Not that she's qualified - at all - but it's pretty obvious that doesn't matter too much anymore.

Do either of you have a link to the interview? It sounds interesting. Also,

Arguably, it should be at the moment. The trump admin stirred up a hornets nest in China. With the ccp and Russia teaming up militarily, and the u.s. the only other superpower with the bankroll to put up somewhat of a fight against these two goliaths, the discussion should be not how much money to throw at the MIC, but how it is allocated. If you’ve been paying attention to the news, you know that there has been non stop cyber attacks for a good while now. At the risk of sound cliché, the next world war will be fought with 1’s and 0’s… it’s happening. Nows not the time to be reducing military spending.
it's on spotify for free. just gotta download the spotify app and go to Joe Rogan Experience podcast

i agree in terms of 1s and 0s

but i disagree in terms of the military budget. almost all of my closest childhood friends "work" for Ratheon. and on top of all the wasteful spending, its an Offense budget, not a Defense budget

to me, the goal is to simply pad the pockets of their friends and donors at the expense of muslims over seas. we create future wars by killing millions of innocents within their own boarders

meanwhile, the same politicians continue to transfer wealth the the wealthiest while most americans live paycheck to paycheck and dont have health insurance which is guarunteed in advanced nations

america is an evil and failing joke of a nation

i dont think she'll run. but Joe has referenced the idea a few times lately. he loves the Obamas because they carry themselves as presidential (even though they are corporate sellouts)

Of course. This is a given regardless. I don't think that many are naive of how things work. Having said that, and knowing that it's going to be a corrupt shit show of suits lining the pockets of other suits, you can almost relate it to the argument of a "fair minimum wage". Sounds good in theory, but when the wages rise, it is not at the expense of the executives running the company. It is at the expense of the consumer. The brass is not going to simply say, well what's right is right, I've had my fair share and I will be going on my merry way.

So, with that in mind, knowing that there will be "wasteful" military spending regardless, the question becomes how vulnerable do you want to leave the u.s. at the expense of virtues? Also keep in mind that america does not have a monopoly on greed. Russia and China and everywhere else "waste" a shit load. It just is what it is. There's no getting away from that.

While I have not listened to the full interview yet, I'm not sure how you can arrive at that conclusion having heard what McMasters has to say. It sounds like he believes in what he is doing/has done. I could be wrong.

Obama is the perfect politician.

All smiles and a silver tongue. He'll slap you on the back with one hand and then stab you in the back with the other.

The greatest conmen are those that get one over on folks and the people that got got don't know they got got.

There are people who still think Obama was one of the greatest presidents of all time.

this fuckin guy .... the government literally just admitted to spying on you and your answer is .....i guess people should have been following the rules.
It’s scary how many pathetic people Covid has exposed. I never realized how many people need the government to direct them how to live.
