What trump actually said is "it may work. It may not work (which is true and a solid comment). Uh ... I feel good about it. That's all it is, just a feeling. Im a smart guy"

Putting aside the comment that by now we know stems from narcissism, the issue that people have with trump's comment here (and generally speaking with the pandemic) is that there needs to be a balance between hope and precaution. And trump's rhetoric heavily favors the former, to an extent which is counterproductive and arguably very dangerous

But yeh, cuomo is in the incrowd. I like how hes been handling this situation since he heavily favors precaution, but regardless, the media would kiss his ass

Is he related to Mario Cuomo?
Unfortunately yes. Another one of these damn political families

More related to this topic of preferential media treatment, governor cuomo is older brother to corrupt MSM cnn's Chris cuomo. (I cant stand cnn, but I actually like Fredo as a human. I'd slam slam beers with that mofo)

Never heard of Chris. I lived in Upstate NY in the 80's and early 90's and remember Mario.

Chris is CNNs primetime slot Monday-Friday. So hes a big deal in terms in terms of the democratic establishment narrative (hes actually way better than most cnn anchors, but still heavily biased by the corrupt dnc and powers that be)

Depends on whether one looks at prison as a place to punish or rehabilitate
I think a short, 1st sentence in prison should be a wakeup call to get right. If you're a habitual criminal or awarded a long sentence, I think it is punishment.

After my post I was pulled slightly to that way of thinking, especially if rykers doesnt ever release people

But in theory, people can still rehabilitate and do good for the world from behind bars. So my take is that we treat them humanely. Cause if treat people who are no longer a threat inhumanely, then we have become the monsters that they were/are
