Agreed. But do not forget China and the WHO's role in this. That can't be left out conveniently...

Can World Health Organization be trusted? WHO repeatedly lied that coronavirus was not transmitted human-to-human | Tech News | Startups News

Li Wenliang, a Chinese ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital who warned about COVID-19 on 30 December 2019 on WeChat to fellow colleagues, was silenced by the Chinese authorities before he died of the disease himself on February 7. British researchers, using mapping technology to compile data on human movement and illness onset, also found that China’s non-pharmaceutical response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country was three weeks too slow. The researchers said the number of coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 95% had China responded to the outbreak 3 weeks earlier.

To further compound the virus outbreak, WHO said on January 14 that coronavirus could not be transmitted to humans because Chinese authorities found no clear evidence.

Point to the east before you point to the west and you have a point.
Short of going to war with China we can't hold China accountable. We can hold our elected representatives accountable. Start there and maybe we will be able to handle when China does China things.

Nah. It was timed for a Sunday always.

her schedule is always two weeks in advance.

Johnson pegging it means nothing to us. He is seen as a fool. We won’t mourn him too much. He was a pm in name only.

he is not a details guy. His tenure as mayor of London was a joke.

I care more if an ambulance or bus driver person who contracts the virus than him.

not wishing death upon him of course.

but he is a useless twat

Oh yes we can. And it is about time. The list of countries is piling up demanding accountability from China, from Thailand, to Canada, the way we've conducted business with China is a thing of the past. All the cards are on the table now.

I blame the west for blindly trusting China, and ridiculing other Asian countries' methods while shown successful, when you compare it with France, Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands, and the US. The western leaders have failed in trusting WHO. Which now some countries are no longer listening to.

No, I do not believe things go back to the way they were. Too much dollars lost for this.

not only are we not holding china accountable but we are actually rewarding them by doing business with them(ventilators, masks, test kits)strengthening their economy while simultaneously weakening the u.s economy.

It's because they make all our shit. And that should change. And it probably will.
