if the defense is even a little competent the fentanyl in Georges system will help chauvin avoid murder charges because it makes people stop breathing but it could also doom chauvin because if floyd had gotten quicker medical care he could have easily been revived with narcan for the fentanyl overdose.

Oh my god these snowflakes are getting worse by the day. How weak can you really be?

"(CNN)"There is a difference between being informed and getting retraumatized."
That's what clinical therapist Paul Bashea Williams tells himself and his clients as they struggle with the distressing images now resurfacing during the Derek Chauvin trial.
The proceeding churns up a persistent trauma. The replay of George Floyd's final moments can feel inescapable, leaving many feeling raw, vulnerable and without relief. There are places you can turn for immediate help

After reading this thread it’s clear none of you know anything about fentanyl and overdoses.

Someone overdosing on fentanyl isn’t going to be able to say I can’t breath a couple dozen times.

i don't understand the appeal of Ben Garrison to anyone over the age of 17.
He reminds me of "Mencius Moldbug", just trying to out-right-wing everybody on principle.
4x the level of fentanyl required to have a death listed for fentanyl, is it really a right wing joke?

Over 100x the level of fentanyl in his system, where it'd be reported.

(PDF warning)

But then again, it's not like facts matter anymore.

Especially when you'd been admitted to the hospital mere months before for an overdose.

I'm coming in here late. So what is the law?

If the cop kneels on a healthy/non drug-taking person's neck for 9 minutes - without cutting off circulation or the airway - the person lives.
But if a cop kneels on a compromised dude's neck - can he be found guilty of manslaughter for possibly contributing to his death?

My assumption is that the main question is "Would Floyd have died anyway"
If that answer is "No", cop should be found guilty of manslaughter. Pretty tough to prove though.

Murder is a weird charge. I thought that had to be premeditated and deliberate, but I'm not sure.
Manslaughter makes sense.
