It's largely been taken out of US hands unless they want to intervene directly. Arming the remaining al-Qaeda militants doesn't mean much any more, because they are now operating openly in collaboration with the Turkish military. The US continues to arm and fund the Turks and Qataris who arm the terrorists - there is no need to cut out the middle men.

In 1979—some sources say 1978—he wrote an implementation of an interoffice email system, which he called EMAIL. Historians and ARPANET pioneers have stated that email was already actively used in the early 1970s.
