No idea who Kendrick Lamar is, but pretty cool of him to bring people up and let them give it a go like that. Time of their lives for sure. Very cool.
Don't forget trap them into saying lyrics he wrote so he can scold them after
Maybe it's a thing I don't know about. Like an accepted practice to sing everything but those words? I don't know. In my opinion, if you got a problem with the word - don't put it in your song.
Black people liking Fried Chicken is the stupidest racism that's ever existed.
Who the hell doesn't like fried chicken?
Some good fried chicken could probably make peace in this country. Good fried chicken is about the only thing we can all agree on.
Love it (friend chicken) or leave it (USA) as I say.
I love fried chicken, I keep it to once a month because it's so unhealthy but it's outstanding, the spicier the better.
He's the best rapper right now. I think most current hip hop is horrendous, but Kendrick is the one guy today that I think is up there with Jay Z, Nas, Eminem,Tupac, and Biggie. His style is different but he is super talented, and can straight up have sick rap lyrics without relying on the typical thug shit.
He's unique and top shelf
I wouldn't go that far. Artistic expression and using a word for impact Is different than endorsing the generalized usage of the word.
I probably curse more on this forum than I do in real life. Sometime for impact or comedic effect or whatever. Context matters.
But the artist chose which song to bring an audience member up. Also chose which audience member.
Would have been pretty easy to Simply pull people up on a song that they could sing every lyric.
I don't think that white people should go around saying nigga. The entirety of the idea that it's an off limit word is supposed to be an empowerment in control of the word instead of just empowerment and loss of control of the word.
I get that. But then I wouldn't create situations like the one in the OP. Twitter bullies all over this girl, even though I thought her whole set was pretty cringe. It's a giant viral moment over relatively small issue that was avoidable.
Not my thing. I don't know good rap from bad rap. It all sounds like garbage to me.
bad rap is basically anything on the radio today, outside of Kendrick or Eminem. Old school hip hop is awesome.
Canada's Prodigal Son has grown on me. I love this damn song and video...
Y'all are gonna hate it, it isn't technical, but this song is the catchiest shit stuck in my head since @Song2054 spammed the forum with big homie Quan for 6 months
Also Childish Gambino is a genius
Word, funny video too
Another homerun thread by yours truly.
Edit - Splinty you forgot to take away my ability to edit posts, gayboy!
Edit 2 - I still haven't watched the video in the OP.

And I'll be damned...Will Smith's still got it
He's cussing now!
Lol.. what a set up.. get a black person up there then..Sensitive ass gangsters crack me up..it's ok to throw cracker around like it's not derogatory.. im making a rule that only white ppl can say "cracka"..Im not saying its right what she did but Jesus Christ don't call her up there if you want a edited version... words only have power when you let them..Im so over the fkn race card bullshit I could vomit..
I would've said it. What am I supposed to do? Bleep myself out? Fuck outta here. If that word is taboo than don't put it in your dumbass lyrics and invite your dumbass fans to sing them.
