Thankfully our cars our full, and I have some gas on hand at home and at work. I have no patience for dealing with that madness, mostly because it as you said.....a self made crisis.

This morning the first place I stopped in College Station was empty. HEB had fuel and long lines.

Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an intruder call at a residence near Lake Houston. Upon arrival, deputies were met by a large alligator who made his way into this flooded home. Constables will soon be delivering the alligator back into his natural habitat.

Hurricane Harvey victims in one Sugar Land neighborhood got surprise servings of Pizza Hut pizzas on Tuesday after workers delivered the pizzas by kayak.

Shayda Habib, the manager of Pizza Hut on West Airport, said she made the decision to deliver pizzas after one of her shift managers told her people in the Village of Oak Lake neighborhood were hungry and low on food.

A couple we are friends with aren't allowed to use the front door to enter the home and are only allowed one vehicle out in the driveway, so visitors to their house have to park way down the street in this little parking area haha

I listen to the Steve Austin podcast occasionally, he talked to a friend that rode out the hurricane on his last one, it was powerful stuff
