True to an extent, except that the extremist element on the right is absolutely politically mainstream, whereas on the left, it isn't. Every woke candidate in the Dem primaries - bar none - was trounced and dropped out early.

78 year old Joe "1994 Crime Bill" Biden was the woke mob's single least favoured candidate, and he annihilated all of them. The Dems are dominated by the Bidens, the Pelosis, the Kamalas - the AOCs and Omars are sidelined. "Defund the Police" was an electoral disaster for those few who ran on it.

The GOP, by contrast, is the party of Trump, MTG, Cotton and Hawley. "Stop the Steal" is now a requirement for gaining traction in the Republican Party. For the right, it is the Romneys and the Ryans who are on the outside looking in. This is a huge and important difference.

But, having said that - this is not a political discussion thread, it is a humour thread. I have no interest in a discussion and will not deign to acknowledge any counterpoint that you or anyone else makes. I have ruled that this conversation is over. ?

Was he though? Or did he just make a couple of iconic speeches? Every offensive he lobbied for failed. So much for Europe's soft underbelly through Greece. Gallipoli in the first world war was his folly too. He also wanted to immediately go to war with the Red Army after the surrender of Germany.

The British Empire killed more people than the Nazi's through negligence, or the pursuit of profit, but the goal was never the outright extermination of a people like the Nazi's. Feels weird defending the Empire.
