I think that's because If they break a story like this it has to have merit or credible sources. The "legit" mma journalists like Gross reek of jealousy when it comes to FRB
Well, we DO know Johnny can run! That Reebok commercial was very telling. If he fled the scene, ditched the drugs and stays sober for 3-4 days (since coke leaves the system fast).. he could end up crawling past the worst parts of it all
exactly. FRB breaks a lot of cool stuff. Be nice to have him be a poster here. I dont know why some people always took shots at him on the other forum. That's the thing though. FRB is not claiming to be a real journalist or reporter. He doesn't write for big name sports media outlets. He shares what he hears from sources and sometimes it's 100% on point, sometimes it's wrong, and sometimes it's in between like today (seemingly)
They know exactly what FRB is, and that's why I don't get their sour grapes. It's not like he's competing for their jobs, lol.
He refuses to do forums anymore. Thank that other place for running another one off.exactly. FRB breaks a lot of cool stuff. Be nice to have him be a poster here. I dont know why some people always took shots at him on the other forum.
No warrant. Police want to question him though.Ok so now what? Are the police out looking for bones?
It'll be interesting having the LHWY champion who has an active warrant out for his arrest
The label you put on things doesn't determine their nature. If you showed someone some martial arts moves and then, when they came back and said the moves didn't work, you said "I never said I was an instructor. I just show people moves; I'm an entertainer"---would you be justified in saying that?FRB is not claiming to be a real journalist or reporter.
I agree no need to run from the cops if you didn't do something wrong, unless you are black and in ferguson,.......................... just fucking around, you're right. Also, just like TQN said. There is only one reason to flee from the scene of an accident.. and that is because you were doing something you shouldn't have been.. Something that more than likely caused the accident
They may never be able to prove if Jones was drunk, high, etc. But I highly, highly doubt he fled the scene because it was a legit accident and a mistake.
The sole reason to run from something like that is because you will get in even more trouble when the cops get there. There is no other reason. What they're able to prove will be one thing.. but, he ran for a reason, and it's yet another chapter in the Jon Jones drama saga.
I can't imagine his story turning out too well 10 years from now. This is a pattern, and if he did not clean up his act after the first coke incident (hell, after the first DUI for fuck sake).. then I have a hard time believing he is gonna clean it up ever.
Just my thoughts on it all. Gotta take a break though. I've been posting legit for hours and it's consumed my day haha.
I'll be back online later to answer all PMs, posts, and check the board. Crazy day for this site! (Jimmy Smith Q&A and this news)... Always good to drive traffic upward.
Peace for now d00ds
True but if this new report is true, he left an injured elderly to fend for herself.@Galanis I think when you're famous, there are other reasons to leave an accident. If you know you're placed there, you'll likely end up paying somehow even if it was entirely not your fault. Chris Rock parodied this recently in his movie Top Five.
Could be Bones was up to no good. Could be he was trying to dodge a civil suit/bad press. It backfired it seems. This guy definitely needs to get a limo though. He and driving seems like all bad fortune.
For sure something shady went down. I'm betting he'll get a fleeing the scene charge, and nothing else because it won't stick. Addiction is a real sonofabitch. He might need to hit genuine rock bottom before he straightens out, which means jail time. Also, just like TQN said. I don't care who you are, you don't flee the scene of an accident.@Galanis I think when you're famous, there are other reasons to leave an accident. Yeah but running from something like this, is gonna bring more bad press than it originally would have garnered, i believe he just bought a corvette and owns a bentley probably some other eyecatching cars not really inconspicuous cars for fleeing a crime scene in ABQ@Galanis I think when you're famous, there are other reasons to leave an accident. Maybe he was running to the office to get her a signed reebok hip?True but if this new report is true, he left an injured elderly to fend for herself.
LOL. I mean if you're gonna get all crackalacked, at least get a driver. This guy definitely needs to get a limo though. He and driving seems like all bad fortune.
"I underestimated how powerful the Reebok shoe is. Something just happens to me, I just feel like I HAVE to run when I have them on. That commercial wasn't even scripted. I really ran up to that tower without even knowing what I was doing. Sometimes, with these shoes on. I don't even know what I'm doing."Maybe he was running to the office to get her a signed reebok hip?
hes probably turned off that he wasnt allowed to post anything critical of dana there and why people kept making fun of his hair colour for some reason. which i think is some european thing. He refuses to do forums anymore. Thank that other place for running another one off.
