I mean, FRB can fool you into thinking he does take responsibility by saying "I jumped the gun", but why even say that if it's just "entertainment"?

He thought he had the scoop. Went wild with it. Got proven full of shit. Has no idea how close he was to the truth and is laying down crash mats in case he is proven completely full of shit

What's funny is how Zuffa resembles the White House in terms of spin-control. The political press is a joke in the USA. The only real journalism is in sports, that is, sports that aren't UFC's MMA.

Albuquerque PD: UFC champion Jon Jones sought for questioning in hit-and-run accident - MMA Fighting

So far we know that FRB and BSL both said the same thing:

Jones was involved in a hit and run accident. That much has been reported as true

They also said he was in custody, which apparently has not happened

The most interesting claim is the cocaine thing. There has been no official word on that either way. But it surely seems like Jones fucked up bad.

I refuse to believe you have time to go to the gym when you are spending your days playing your guitar on street corners, protesting social injustices, reading Kurt Cobain's journal, and crying about Mariota going to the NFL.

The only reason to commit a hit and run is if

A) You're drunk/high
B) Drugs in the car
C) Dont have insurance

Pretty sure Bones has car insurance.

Exactly. The question will now be if they can prove he was either under the influence or in possession of narcotics when it actually happened. If he fled the scene, ditched the drugs and stays sober for 3-4 days (since coke leaves the system fast).. he could end up crawling past the worst parts of it all

I hope not though. If he did really do this, he deserves to be punished. ANYONE who drives drunk, high on coke, etc.. I don't care who they are, they deserve serious punishment. And this is not his first offense, either.

Agreed. I actually like a lot of Gross' stuff. But these days he comes off bitter toward the entire sport of MMA in general.

He also thinks EVERYONE should follow the same protocol and shit. It's like.. guess what.. FRB doesn't work for ESPN/SI like you do, Josh. He's a twitter personality who breaks scoops. And a lot of the time, he breaks them long before these SI/ESPN fools do so.

I can see why he hates FRB. He thinks it all needs to be super proper and professional

Well, MMA & Boxing are not. And they never will be. And I'm not just talking about journalism either. This isn't baseball or the NFL and it just simply never will be.. The fight game is a dirty game behind the scenes.
