Matt Hughes sees 'no need' for a fighter's union

He has a point in a way but the company is making A LOT of money of the backs of fighters while sharing as little as possible, or so it seems.
A fighter's union may not be needed but fair compensation is.
Think of what the UFC would be if talented fighters stopped fighting for them and just did something else. That's a company that would still exist but lose all its prestige.

A lot of hate going on for an absolute legend in here just because he's not on board with the anti ufc train. If this was Jones getting talked about in here like this ndnh would be in here reporting all of you.

Hughes position is pretty predictable. He was always taken care of by the UFC and even now he has a nice job working for them. There's no way he will publicly take a position that is counter to the UFC view.

Really? I only saw one that at first glace seemed that way. Reread it though, and i could see the argument for either way.
 
I dont see any real fighter bashing in here, besides the insinuation that Hughes is a tool...which is kinda hard to argue, no?

Guys, please cut back on the bashing. If you think Matt is a tool, that's fine but you can make your point without name calling.

The anecdote about him starting trouble at parties is interesting and informative but it speaks for itself and doesn't need insults thrown in on top.

Let's not take this too serious guys. No one in here called Matt anything more than a tool, which let's be honest...he's been known to act like one on many occasions. If people were calling him a bitch, faggot, cunt, pussy, etc....I'd moderate it because it sets a bad precedent. I don't think anyone would argue anything in this thread however. I get your frustration that you might have said something that was edited or whatever in another thread, but moderating is always going to be subjective and it's never going to be perfect. All we (I) can do is our best. But "well I was modded for this and so & so wasn't, so that gives me the right to do XYZ" isn't really productive IMO.
