Mariner forever, but also an Angels fan.
Back when it was CALIFORNIA Angels, and Wally World.
Funny story.
I'd gone to get Wally Joyner's autograph when he came to the Kingdome and cracked a homer.
My mom took me, and we went out to the busses as everyone was screaming "BROTHER JOYNER! BROTHER JOYNER!!!"(He's a Mormon)
I'm reaching my angels penant and no one pays me any mind.
Then some guy is staring at my mom(she was hot). None other than Tony Armas.
My mom runs up my penant, Tony opens the bus window, and signs it. Yay me! Thanks ma.
He then asked for her number, and I looked at him mean, like Charles Bronson, heh heh.
Tony Armas hit 43 homers and 123 RBI in '84 to lead the AL.
Back to Colon, I always think of him as a Cleveland Indian.
Man was he a beast back then...
Well how about that. Joyner and Colon shared #21.
